“Good “Emergency” Stopover”
Had to find an hotel when our ferry was cancelled and luckily found the SAN Gloria. Very clean and well managed. Decor was a little dated but that added to the charm. Very helpful receptionist helped me with car parking. Definitely use this hotel again.

“Central Pension”
If you are looking for a simple pension close to the bus and train station this could be the place for you. The rooms are a bit worn but still functional. If you are looking for a simple pension close to the bus and train station this could be the place for you. The rooms are a bit worn but still functional. Good points are the location,good internet connection, ,plentiful hot water and friendly staff especially night porter who was very helpful on late arrival. However the problem here is the price /quality ratio don’t really stack up. I paid 60 euro for a single with no fridge or air conditioning and an internal window. There are no international TV channels and the carpet in the communal areas badly need replacing. I have at stayed in 3 and 4 star places with far superior facilities for a similar price on the same trip. Although Santander hotels admittedly overall seem more expensive . The walls (and ceilings) in the building are very thin and noise travels easily. During the week this was not so much of a problem but on Saturday night / Sunday morning more so.
