“Ideal overnighter whilst waiting for the ferry”
Smashing location on the edge of Santander next to a beach so we could watch the tide coming and going. The receptionist spoke beautiful English and arranged a room with a sea view as a complimentary upgrade. The room was a great size with a balcony to sit out on. The beds were uber comfortable! Smashing location on the edge of Santander next to a beach so we could watch the tide coming and going. The receptionist spoke beautiful English and arranged a room with a sea view as a complimentary upgrade. The room was a great size with a balcony to sit out on. The beds were uber comfortable! No kettle but cold water in a fridge. The bath was difficult for me to get out of so I would have been better using the shower! Breakfast at €14 each was good with a varied selection of food. Check out was 12 noon A very lovely hotel

“Fantastic stay!”
Fantastic hotel in an amazing location. Very friendly staff who gave us a free upgrade to a balcony room! Breakfast is a great value for money too, will definitely stay here if we ever visit Santander again. Free parking available for those traveling by car just outside the hotel.

“Excellent , thoroughly recommended”
Lovely situation , lovely views , great food. excellent stopover for the ferry only 15 minutes away .although next time we will extend the stay .. Very friendly . The esplanade was a great place to walk along , an up market seaside place. Lovely old buildings including the casino

“Santander in October”
Nice affordable hotel in a great location with sea views. Rooms are basic but comfortable, clean and have everything you need. Hairdryer was very powerful. The water cooler in the hall was super helpful. Breakfast was great and tasty, staff very friendly and helpful.

Second stay here but not as good as our first visit ... Overall size of the room is small (smaller than the previous we stayed in). Beds / mattresses are tired and much too soft. Second stay here but not as good as our first visit ... Overall size of the room is small (smaller than the previous we stayed in). Beds / mattresses are tired and much too soft. Bathroom isn't user friendly (esp. shower). Staff very average (disastrous check in). Best about this hotel : views from private balcony and location (at the far end of a long sandy beach with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby). I had no regret coming back here though. It is still a very good option to consider for Santander.
