I consider my stay in this hotel (we returned on June 12, 2024) to be very successful. The first thing that caught my eye after entering the hotel (not to mention the very helpful staff at the reception) was cleanliness!! Secondly...food!! Very good and varied. I recommend buying All inclusive. A nice idea in the All inclusive formula is that drinks from outside the menu are 50% discount. All inclusive guests have a separate drinks menu, which are delicious, but if you want to drink something extra, you pay half the price, i.e. 5 euros. At this point, I would like to greet the bartender Sebastian!!!!!!. When it comes to entertainment, animator Sydney is the leader :-) ...no comment. Of course, very warm regards. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to making our stay successful.

“Relaxing Holidays”

This hotel would appeal to anyone looking for relaxing holiday with great location and clean rooms. We were on half board package and there is a good selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. This hotel would appeal to anyone looking for relaxing holiday with great location and clean rooms. We were on half board package and there is a good selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. Their swimming pool isn’t big but this surprisingly was never an issue, plenty of sun loungers to use. There is a train station within 10 minutes walking with trains going to Barcelona every half an hour (1h 20mins). The hotel staff are also kind and helpful.

We’ve just got back from a one week stay as a big family travelling with a 10 month old baby. The hotel overall looks lovely, but the experience as a guest is very average. Pros: - lovely reception area, a very welcoming feel when you arrive and check in is quick. - decent sized rooms which were cleaned well every day. - whole hotel feels clean, pool area is cleaned thoroughly every night and the pool itself is also very clean. - plenty of sun loungers and seating for evening entertainment, never struggled to find beds by the pool or seating near the bar. - 5 minute walk to the beach - very friendly waiting staff/bar staff - *some* friendly receptionists - decent location, bars and restaurants nearby and 7 minute walk to the train station where you can get to Barcelona and back relatively cheap Cons: - this hotel has a bit of a ‘con artist’ feel to it. We were all inclusive but there are extra charges for almost everything apart from the most basic facilities and drinks. Gym is 5 euros per use, indoor pool is 15 euros per person for 2 hours. We asked for a kettle to the room so we could make bottles of milk for the baby and we were charged 7 euros just to have a kettle in the room (even though when we asked the day before the receptionist said they would sort it for us and didn’t mention a fee!) 10 euro deposit needed for the all inclusive wristband. - pool is freezing cold, far too cold for a baby. The sea is slightly warmer - the snack bar is appalling. The man who runs it is friendly, but there are no ‘snacks’ at all! No cakes, ice cream, nothing. Just burgers, hotdogs, ham toasties and pizzas. - the food is hit and miss. Lunch was usually nice, but the dinner selection was mostly poor and often far too salty, especially the vegetables. Some of the meat and fish from the show cooking station looked lovely but was served cold and raw in the middle so be careful! Was quite difficult to choose suitable food for a 10 month baby due to over seasoning and undercooking. - entertainment is shocking. Hardly anything going on during the day and mostly live singers or a ‘dj’ in the evening which was just a man awkwardly sat at a computer on stage. - some reception staff are very dismissive and unhelpful. We had 2 days where it was raining so I asked at reception for some recommendations of what to do in the local area and she shrugged her shoulders and said unfortunately there isn’t much to do here, and then just handed us a map. That was it. If this was rated 3 star I’d say some of these cons would be expected, but to be rated 4 star makes the entire holiday feel disappointing. I have travelled 3 star most of my adult life and thought we were treating ourselves this time to a 4 star holiday, but in reality this hotel was not as good as many 3 star hotels I’ve stayed in.

First the good things: food was very good, lots of choice (we were half board) and the drinks were very reasonably priced. The beds were so comfy, I slept better than at home! First the good things: food was very good, lots of choice (we were half board) and the drinks were very reasonably priced. The beds were so comfy, I slept better than at home! The outside pool area is nice with plenty of outside seating near the bar. The not so good: check out at 10am! €15 to use the indoor pool and "spa" for 2 hours - obviously we didn't use it but you could see it from the bar and it was like a regular small indoor pool with jacuzzi next to it - like my local leisure centre! This is a ridiculous amount of money and wasn't clear at booking. €5 also to use the tiny gym. No kettle in the room, which really made my stay less enjoyable. The restaurant tea was vile so I had to go without for a week. Overall the hotel was good, very clean although a bit dated but the area of Santa Susanna is quite bleak - not pretty at all. We walked around, up the hill through the residential area to the "town" which had nothing much worth seeing and was very run down with weeds everywhere. Took the train to Blanes one day, that was quite nice but I wouldn't go back to this area, there are far nicer areas in Spain.
