After reading some of the reviews we went with an open mind. We had a fantastic stay and for what we paid it proved to be excellent in value. The room we had was clean, well kept and spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and happy to help. There was a good variety of food and the service was good. The pool gets some sun but the beach is a minute walk and we found it quiet and peaceful. We would recommend visiting here!

We went for a last minute budget holiday, upgraded from half board to all inclusive on arrival, rooms were spotless and modern, food was want to be expected for a budget hotel, always found something, they had entertainment but probably more in high season, pool wasn’t great because it was shady but again could be the time of year but didn’t disappoint as it’s a beach front hotel, overall lovely stay

“Mixed experiences”

Had a lovely holiday with my family. It was a nice hotel for the price. Close to the beach and train station which was very handy. Food was nice but repetitive. The wasn't much space in the room to hang clothes. No USBs to charge phones, ear buds ECT. There was bus loads of older people arriving daily, the know how to party!! Loads of queues a noise. Staff were nice and polite except for 2 receptionists and a couple of bar staff. One male receptionist shouted at me in Spanish because I asked for towels. The bar staff seemed to be offended that we paid for all inclusive and gave more hospitality to non all inclusive customers. Maybe they wanted me to pay again?!! I really didn't enjoy drinking a gin/tonic + cocktails from a plastic glass😞 Would be cheaper+ more enjoyable to book your room and food/drinks separately!

“A budget hotel accompanied with lots of drunken noise ”

Just got back from a stay here, I have to say a mixed bag, this is a budget hotel, the prices are very low, which attracts certain type of people. First impressions were terrible, the single rooms are very small, though managed to get moved to a double, due to noisey neighbours, this was a problem throughout the stay. The staff helpful, weren't rude, though maybe disgruntled, working in the environment with boozy brits, I can see why because I saw terrible manners from some of the guests towards them. The double rooms, OK for the money, walk in shower and balcony etc. I note some reviews mention the room cleaning, I'd say it could be better standard, but the cleaners are heavily placed upon demand wise, I assume to a timescale. The rooms I saw where the doors open when walking past were kept in a tip fashion by guests, plates on the floor etc, also I saw 1 room when walking past completely covered in confetti, must of taken ages to clean, which I assume they have to quickly complete other rooms to keep up. The food I didn't actually like it, I opened a chicken ball at dinner & it was practically raw after that, for dinner decided to continuously eat out every night. I would sometimes use the hotel for breakfast. The bar itself grotty, full of drunks, they utilise a token system, you need the blue token to get a cup, then a drink, at the end of the evening or whenever, you give back the cup & get a token back, however only used the bar about twice, we went to a nice bar around the corner, far more civilised, in all I wondered was paying for the all inclusive actually worth it. The main gripe is the lack of room & hotel insulation to prevent noise, you will get loads of it, from cases being dragged down corridors at 3am, as well a other noisy guests shouting out being rowdy. One night at 1am, some woman next door screaming on the phone. The personna is chavy guests, there was a fight in the dining hall, though I wasn't there to witness it, police were called I did see them in reception. The town looks a bit run down, seems like every shop is selling leather handbags. One bit of the town near the Anchor roundabout is a bit quiet, but further down starts getting ike Benidorm. If you want to eat out Restaurant wise, I recommend Casa Bella, near the roundabout with a Anchor, they do pizzas steaks etc, good food reasonably priced along with a warm welcome. If you want to escape the chav of Malgrat, then I recommend Barcelona (90 minutes train), Blanes 10 minutes train & Girona 2 connecting trains 1, hour in total, I did all of these, as the train station is right next door to the hotel. The hotel transfer point is 7-15 minutes walk away, this depends how much your luggage slows you. However, beware the transfer company MTS, don't operate between 1 and 6am, if your flight back home is near between these times say 7am, your closest pick up time is 1am, you'll be at the airport many hours before your flight. IMHO, if you can afford better just go elsewhere, overall the hotel for the budget OK, but it's the people it's filled with is the issue, I wouldn't be returning here, but it might suit someone on a budget, though the big caveat is the food + the guests.
