Just had a lovely week in malgrat de mar with our children 7 and 14. Hotel was very clean, room cleaned thoroughly each day as was main hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Just had a lovely week in malgrat de mar with our children 7 and 14. Hotel was very clean, room cleaned thoroughly each day as was main hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Natalie from reception was particularly helpful when we misplaced safe key and required taxis. Pros, Splash area, slides and pool excellent for kids and will entertain them for hours. Location of hotel excellent, close to beach, shops, excursions, train station and all local amenities. Cleanliness of hotel. Staff, friendly, helpful, interactive, hardworking. Breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts, hot food, coffee, juices. Foam party outside for kids twice a week, they loved it. Entertainments each evening starting at 9pm.or 10pm, dancing shows, dj, magic. Could have started slightly earlier. Quadruple sea facing room with balcony. Had 3 double beds. Train line outside but did not distrurb us. Spacious room with second balcony on the side. There was pool table and small arcade area Cons, Evening meal had a range of food however was very similiar each day, salad, rice, pasta, pizza, meats. Desserts varied but best was ice cream and yoghurt Kids club at 5pm was mainly colouring in pictures, not suitable for either of my children The nearby area seemed.to have a sewage issue which resulted in a sewage smell in hotel until local company fixed drainage outside in the street. Not the hotels fault but i imagine it may reoccur. There is a nightclub underneath hotel which is open each Sat night and caused issues sleeping for that one night, other than that no issue.

“Not a dream hotel but was ok”

It was ok, the hotel was clean, rooms cleaned daily.Rooms were a bit small but this wasnt a big deal . The pool area was nice, kids pool was good and kids did like it. It was ok, the hotel was clean, rooms cleaned daily.Rooms were a bit small but this wasnt a big deal . The pool area was nice, kids pool was good and kids did like it. Water was bit cold due to the weather. Unfortunately when we were there (16th -23 rd june)was not much to do for kids, no kids club, no entertainment for kids apart one " foam party " The food wasnt great, small choice but the worse was the food was more less the same every day , we were lucky to get a bit of Mexican food on saturday, the day before we left. The location was ok, very close to the beach, good few small shops around, no decent restaurants near by. Most of the Staff were very blunt, didnt make you feel welcome. Sometimes i even felt like they were bothered a bit when u asked for something .. Credit to pool bar staff. They were nice enough. The cleaners were nice and friendly, always greeting us with a smile . We wont be visiting again, it wasnt terrible but i wouldnt say it was great .
