Just returned from my 3rd visit this to this excellent Hotel rooms are very clean and all staff are great food is what you make of it i dont do dinner as there are plenty of places to eat out on Seafront. “It is what it is”

Lovely clean hotel right where the strip is. Lovely clean hotel right where the strip is. Staff friendly and bar staff very helpful and carried drinks out etc. I had no idea they served actual food at the bar, and only know now I have read someone else's recent review. We paid for breakfast on one morning and it was very much continental and we left hungry to be honest. There was a school or numerous schools staying so that breakfast experience was pretty hectic. But they were no bother other than that and also were off site all day every day. Downsides to the room were BBC news didn't work and I assume that would have been in English, all the other channels were Spanish, so a British Chanel would be good. No tea/coffee facilities in the room was a big downside when we just wanted to chill when we woke up. No mini fridge to store water we bought from the shop next door, which was handily located. I don't like double beds that are basically 2 beds next to each other and it doesn't make for a romantic couples get away. Pool was ice cold but I did go in on all 3 days we were there, it gets warmer as your skin goes numb, I promise. Toilets for the pool, only cleaned in a morning so by lunch time I was using the shower next to it to wash my feet after going in there, if you know what I mean. Bar well stocked with loads of drinks and crisps, any other food is not advertised and never saw anyone eat more than crisps. Some stuff like pizzas/wraps/fries ECT would be good, of course if they do do them, they need to advertise that. We would come back to the resort of Malgret but we would stay next door at the 4* hotel instead. But it is what it is and cannot fault the staff, just needs a few extras and it would be a 4*

This hotel was a lot better than I had expected having read other reviews. We arrived late at night and were able to have pizza in the bar for dinner. The food was just OK but was as expected for a late bar. The staff in the bar were all lovely, especially Uriol who went out of his way every day to serve guests with a smile. The pool was very cold but that was probably down to the time of year. The atmosphere around the pool was nice and relaxing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Our towels were changed and the room cleaned daily. The only thing which would make me question going back is the noise level. The walls are so thin we could hear our teenagers speaking at a normal volume in the next room, and the morning always started with hearing doors banging as people left their rooms. That would be my only complaint.
