What an amazing hotel, first class. Spotlessly clean, amazing multilingial staff, with three pools (one of which is heated to 24c). The food was very good, plenty of choice, however if you're expecting traditional British food you'll be disappointed. I have some small gripes with the food, the meat was often quite fatty and the food wasn't always piping hot which is understandable given that it is served buffet style (chafing candles would help). None of this really bothered me that much and I just avoided the fatty meats (always plenty of other options, typically there would be 5 or more meat dishes every serving). One thing I found really frustrating is that the labels describing the food were worn out / faded and when they were visible it was just a brief description such as "pig" or "veal", a more detailed explanation would have been so much better. The beach is just a few minutes walk away as are shops etc, the train station is maybe a 15 minute walk and very cheap to use (once you figure out how their system works), we went to Loret (not impressed) and Calella (very impressed). The grounds of the hotel are fantastic, if you're just a sun seeker and want to lounge around all day, then you really have no need to leave the hotel grounds, everything you could need are on-site. All in all, we had an fantastic week and plan to return next year.

“We love this hotel!!!!!!”

This was our seventh visit to this hotel and we stayed for three weeks on halfboard basis. Once again, we were not disappointed. It has many things going for it, ie, Lovely grounds which included three swimming pools, one which his heated, a poolside bar, an indoor Spa with pool. A great outdoor terrace to to sit and relax, with shades above to protect you from the Sun. The rooms are a good size with a balcony and a very large comfortabel bed and the maids ensure every day that the rooms are kept spotless. The food in the Restaurant is really top class and very varied. Again, the staff are really friendly, even though they always seemed to be very busy, doing what they do The thing that makes this hotel so special to us, are also, the lovely ladies who look after the rooms and the cleaning. They are always pleasent and always happy to help if it is needed. There are also, certain members of staff who we would like too name, who really helped to make our stay, so enjoyable. Carmen on reception, who sorted a problem we had with our shower, she was always keen to talk and chat with us. Alex, who looks after the pool and garden area and always has the time to ask us if we are enjoying ourselves. Tne staff in the Restaurant, too many to name individually but we would like to name a few of them. Martina, Karl and Maria who always met us with a smile and made our stay that little bit more special by being very attentive to our needs. We look forward to returing to the hotel next year and meeting up again with the staff who have now adopted us as (family). Room 641.

“Don't Book the Penthouse !!”

1st things 1st; the staff are absolutely amazing, they work hard and long hours. We booked the Penthouse (with a side-sea view) ... that was a mistake, our view was a huge carpark and a side view of the sea.; open plan having a shower isn't the best thing. Luckily the toilet has a door !! A friend of ours had booked a room without upgrading, she was on the 4th floor with a view of the pools (far better view than a carpark) and her bathroom and toilet was behind a door. No kettle, luckily the staff at reception let us have one, we'd already bought our own teabags. The meals were varied with plenty of choice, just not very warm ... there is a microwave to make it warmer though !! The coffee was terrible from the machines in the restaurant, not very hot and pretty tasteless. My partner doesn't drink, so every now and again he'd have a mocktail; there's no alcohol in them, but pay the same price as an alcoholic one, why ?? There are some lovely bars to go to for a drink, not many eating places though, unless you want burgers, pizza etc. We visited Barcelona whilst there, its 11 euros return to Malgrat. Get off at the Catalonia Barcelona, it's at the top of the Ramblas an there are the tourist busses that can take you all around the city, Including Gaudis and Neo Camp Stadium. Going North, there is the train to Llorett De Mar, and then a bus ride to Tossa De Mar ... Tossa was very nice, and would recommend a day there too.
