“Mixed Experience at a 4-Star Hotel (More Like 2 Stars by European Standards”

We stayed for 7 days as a family, and while there were some positives, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. **Rooms**: The rooms were quite small and definitely not as stylish as one would expect from a 4-star hotel. They could use some renovation and deeper cleaning, though we did get fresh towels every day, which was much appreciated. The room was cleaned quickly every day, so that was a plus. **Service**: The staff was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the reception team was extremely helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The friendly and accommodating attitude really stood out and made a huge difference to our stay. **Food**: Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. While there was plenty of it, everything lacked flavor. As an executive chef, I was especially frustrated with the absence of basics like salt and pepper. I’d strongly recommend that the kitchen start using more seasoning, or at least offer it on each table. The all-inclusive drinks were also served in plastic cups, which felt cheap and out of place in a vacation setting—it gave the vibe of being at a sports event rather than a relaxing holiday. **Bar Service**: The bar staff was generally good, though we encountered a few odd situations. For example, we were told we couldn’t get a simple cheese toast at 22:50, even though it was supposed to be available until 23:00. **Overall**: The best part of our stay was the staff, who really went out of their way to help. However, the quality of the rooms and food needs serious improvement if this hotel wants to live up to its 4-star rating.
