Great location. Bit of a trek from EasyJet drop off, but bus can’t get down quaint cobbled streets so to be expected, but easy to find on Google maps. Be aware of tourist tax to pay but not expensive. Also deposit €150 for a refundable deposit for a no smoking in the rooms policy. Refunded on checkout no problems. Had free upgrade to junior suite given which was nice. Can’t complain about the room at all! Modern, bright, clean. Comfy beds and pillows, really great air conditioning. Had slight issues with blocked drains for the shower overflowing but sorted very quickly by cleaners and maintenance man. Found all staff very friendly and accommodating. Bar and pool area looked lovely but we prefer to be out and about. Booked again for June as so many lovely restaurants we wanted to try, everywhere we had a meal was lovely apart from Nui Beach which was a real disappointment unfortunately so definitely won’t be back there! Went on the train to Girona which is beautiful and worth a city break in the future. The train was confusing, not many direct ones and not clear changes are needed but managed to work it out. All in all great base to explore the area and looking forward to returning!

Both my wife and I have just returned from a one week stay and our first visit to this hotel and Calella itself. The week didn't get off to the best start however as we being a couple with no children were placed on a corridor with other families with children and directly next to a family with a small child who decided that it was suitable to let him have free reign of the room running around, banging into walls and scraping furniture from early afternoon late into the night not to mention the parents smoking what we believe was cannabis on the balcony. We did complain in the afternoon about the noise and someone from reception came up to speak to these guests and the noise stopped for an hour or so but upon returning from our first evening out we were 'treated' to the encore of noise clearly now being done on purpose as we had complained earlier that day and from what we could hear them talking about through the walls. Having not slept for nearly 38 hours this gave us no choice but to visit reception at nearly 11pm to request to move rooms as sleep would have been impossible. The receptionist to her credit did quickly allocate us to a new room but unfortunately could not help us move all our items which we had unpacked earlier that day (assuming as no one else would be present on the front desk). This left us moving our suitcases and other belongings between 3 floors up until midnight that evening so yes not the greatest of first impressions! Luckily the second room we were given was a lot quieter for the most part although with the Ironman competition going on this past weekend there was a lot of early banging of doors and unnecessary conversations taking place in the corridors which caused me to wake up earlier than normal. The paper thin walls and ceilings were my only real issue with this hotel. You will hear everything both next door and in the corridors above a normal conversation level unless you are lucky to be placed in a quiet area or be surrounded by other courteous guests. Now the positives! The self catering room that we had was well laid out with a comfortable bed and good well maintained furniture and was cleaned perfectly everyday with no issues. We had a pool view room and the balcony doors were sound proofed very well so no noise externally from the hotel could be heard. I just wished it had been the same internally. The kitchen was well equipped with an induction hob and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The bar and reception area were immaculately clean and tidy along with the pool and outdoor spaces throughout our stay. A special mention must go to the lovely Tinni for her service during our stay as well along with the lady at reception during the day who offered us a free breakfast to apologise for the noise (sorry we did not get your name) this was very much appreciated and a nice touch. The whole staff in general were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The location of the hotel is a quick 5 minute walk to the main restaurants, shops and a couple of bars in Calella itself and the train station to Barcelona and the other towns on the coast is just a short walk at the end of the street turning left out of the main entrance. Overall we were impressed for the most part with the hotel. Just maybe pack some earplugs if you are planning to stay here in the future!

All you need in room for S/C. Toaster, kettle M Wave and fridge. Excellent shower/bath room. Towels every day if needed. Good lifts, excellent pool lit up at night. For a 3* Hotel this is lovey. Location good opposite is a mini market not far for immediate supplied water ect. Turn left out of Hotel ten minute main strip... Bars restaurants, go right at cross avenue to check out Mandela Bar/restaurant and ice cream parlour opposite. That direction to train/taxi. You can visit Girona or Barcelona.

My wife and I are currently staying here and return home tomorrow. We have enjoyed our stay at Miami Park and would stay here again. We went for the self catering option and was pleasantly surprised that our room was cleaned every day and our towels replaced. This is a great base to stay with all the local amenities within 10 minutes (walk) or less. The train station and major shopping centre and eateries are so close. The hotel is located on a side street so don’t be surprised if you get dropped off on the main road. Our room was more than adequate and so was our kitchen. There are only two English channels, Sky News and Bloomberg, both news channels.
