“Gem of a place!”
What a fabulous place! We felt like we were staying in a Downton Abbey summer manor! Everything here is beautiful, the breakfast was elegant and delicious, the nighttime’s silent, just the wind whispering in the trees. I wish we could have stayed longer. What a fabulous place! We felt like we were staying in a Downton Abbey summer manor! Everything here is beautiful, the breakfast was elegant and delicious, the nighttime’s silent, just the wind whispering in the trees. I wish we could have stayed longer. When looking to book a place to stay at Obidos I originally thought we’d want to stay in the town itself, but I’m so glad we decided to stay here. It’s super easy parking right at the front, and so much room for relaxing, wandering and swimming in the pool, it feels like you’re at a spa…and then you can drive or walk (5 min) to the beautiful village of Óbidos. Just perfect, especially if you have a car. Highly recommend!

“Lovely old mansion walking distance to the castle”
This was a great find, away from the crowds in the middle of a field area. We could walk, and did to the castle, about a 30 min walk. This was a great find, away from the crowds in the middle of a field area. We could walk, and did to the castle, about a 30 min walk. The rooms are quaint and the breakfast set and catered by lovely women who will cook to your order. It was early yet for the pool or tennis courts to be open but we could see it would be a great place to spend some down time. Nice billiard and tv room to while away a rainy day which we did. Very lovely stay, thanks Silver!

“Deep sleep in a historic Inn!”
Delightful, historic Inn! An easy walk to Obidos and a magnificent breakfast. Obrigado! The room was lovely, the house was beautiful. We enjoyed playing snooker and exploring the well-groomed grounds. Fantastic experience that we highly recommend.
