“Can’t recommend this place enough”
Second time in this hotel, absolutely fantastic place to stay. Great staff (every department) go above and beyond for guests, from the pool guys to the pool bar staff to the little pub and the internal Bar. Great music from the local bands playing there. “Excellent Hotel”
The Pestana Carlton Madeira is an excellent hotel with helpful staff. The room was large and the ocean view balcony was a plus. We loved being able to go in the ocean or pools. The food was great. We enjoyed the included breakfast buffet and the options we could chose from for breakfast.

“Please clean round the taps”
Overall the hotel is lovely, room is massive , staff very friendly and helpful, food has been great. There are plenty of outdoor space with 2 outdoor pools to choose from. One small issue that has let it down is the bathroom tap…… when was the last time this was cleaned ?
