When I arrived at the hotel I thought I’d made a big mistake. I wasn’t impressed as I think you big it up to be like the royal savoy. However it was a hotel where the staff couldn’t do enough for you. We had some lovely chats with staff in the restaurant and bar. They were really nice young vibrant people who wanted to make sure you had a nice time. The room and facilities are absolutely spotless. The food in the hotel some might say is pricey but we thought it was great quality and you get what you pay for. Like every hotel drinks are more expensive than bars in the town. You never had to rush for a Sunbed and it was calm and relaxing all day. This hotel is not for children as it has no water slides or kids clubs. My only gripe with this hotel is the lightning in the rooms. We stayed online the junior suite and it was very dark even with lights on. We also paid for the breakfast as part of the package, I wasn’t impressed as no omelette station I think that’s something they need to consider. Would definitely visit again and we don’t want to come home!

We stayed as a group of friends, the youngest being in our 40’s and the eldest in their 60’s but we are all still in our 20’s really (with several years experience haha). It has been mentioned in previous reviews and the hotel is marketed towards the younger generation however there was a mix of people staying here so we did not feel out of place. I loved the stylish decor (good enough for insta) and the modern facilities in the room including plenty of USB sockets. Rooms and beds were very comfortable and you can get pool towels. What I did not understand was why when providing tea and coffee facilities there was no tea and coffee provided in the room? I would expect this from a 4 star hotel. I would have also liked proper tea and coffee cups rather than plastic ones! The breakfast was amazing, typical continental with lovely fresh pastries and bread and all presented very well. Staff were all friendly and happy to help. We loved the rooftop bar, perfect to watch the fireworks of a local festival. There was a gym which has adequate equipment to maintain anyone’s fitness regime whilst away however the air conditioning did not work during our stay which made it very uncomfortable, nor did the water cooler - wished I had mentioned this at reception as I’m sure staff would have addressed this. We sampled the spa which was very nice with a good range of treatments available. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely return with its good location and proximity to local bars and restaurants.

Beds were comfy , but the pillows were awful. A lack of storage in the bedroom was a pain. Nice touch with the bottle of fizz for my husbands birthday . Tip, don’t buy water from the bar 33cl water 3.50… Overall lovely stay … shame about the weather but that can’t be help .

Modern hotel, aiming at a younger generation. In my opinion the digital side of it needs improving, I asked for a menu at the Cloud Bar and was told it was on the app but then there was no option to order on the app, all the tables had QR codes to the app but it has little functionality. The app also has the ability to control the lighting in the room but this is very slow, and there was no option to turn the lamp on, we discovered the socket was ineffective so the room was very dark, though we did not spend a lot of time in it. The room was clean & spacious, although I do agree with other reviews that there is limited storage space for clothes. We had a few meals at the Recharge restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also tasty. Breakfast had enough variety, it is the standard European continental. All staff were very friendly and helpful, bringing your cocktails to your sun bed. We did not struggle to find a sun bed and were lucky enough to lay on the comfy bed right by the ocean, a very relaxing spot. All in all a lovely break, the hotel would be exceptional if it had decent lighting and better app functionality (since they insist on this being used).
