“The best place to stay in Funchal.”
This hotel is perfect; restaurants, shops, gardens, cable car, etc are all within easy walking distance and are mainly on the flat. The staff are friendly, yet respectful, and are happy to deal with any problem you may have. You can upgrade to a sea view room and watch the activities on the water… more

“Memorable new year.”
Excellent, I will be recommending this hotel to friends and family for its location which was an easy flat walk into the town, its cleanliness and the friendly staff. An all round lovely hotel.

“Wow location for New Year”
First visit to Madeira for New Year and certainly were not disappointed. Hotel in prime position for celebrations. Hotel very comfortable with lovely staff - lots of dining options within an easy walk. Access to sea for swimming - not cold even on 1 Jan

“Fabulous hotel”
Lovely, not too big hotel in a great location. Service was brilliant at every level. Food in the restaurant was really good, NYE Gala dinner was exceptional. Thank you for providing such a fabulous experience.

“Excellent hotel in great location in Funchal”
Our fourth visit to this lovely hotel where the staff are always lovely, friendly and helpful. However, whilst buffet breakfast is always good, the evening meals were not as good this year, in our opinion.
