Sentido Galomar - Adults Only

“A very romantic and peaceful stay, with good service!”

We loved our stay. Great views, facilities and above all service. So in our opinion a wonderfull spot to explore the island. The manta diving is a very cool option. Their swimming pools and sea entrances are amazing for snorkling . Nothing but love for Galomar Sentido.

We have just returned from a 1 weeks stay on a Full Board+ basis, we arrived on an early flight from the UK one of our 2 rooms was ready AMAZING, the rules were explained to us regarding eating etc, Fullboard + is 3 meals per day, with 1 bottle of water per person and either a soft drink, glass of Wine or a beer. Some staff seemed confused at times about the FB+ option sometimes asking both room numbers sometimes only wanting one, sometimes asking us to sign sometimes not. We chose the Sentido Galomar as it was shown as Adult friendly. And as we prefer a child free vacation this was the perfect option, however, we had to take lunch at the Setido galasol and evening meals, the sentido Galasol is the Family hotel, fortunately there were no or very few children at the hotel during our stay, so it wasn't an issue. However we discovered that the Sentido Galomar restaurant served the same lunch menu but we would have to pay if we wanted to eat there how odd. Around the pool in the Galomar there was no easy place to get a drink, you had to go out of the hotel across a path down in the lift to -3 get a drink being it back up to the pool area. We found it wasn't easy in the Galasol to get pre-dinner drinks so we ended up just going to our table and having our free FB+ Drink. Lunch was an extended affair we used to arrive at 1pm for our main course and dessert, some days we left with no dessert as it took so long to get mains, so much so we used to order our desserts with our mains... In a hope we would be out before 3pm. Saying that the food was good. The breakfast buffet was good too, the evening meals were also buffet and food and service were good, as a fussy eater I found something to eat every night... the hotel is beautiful and well kept. Service in the Galomar of an evening was also very prompt. All through our stay if we ordered any drinks we paid at the end of the night, we also had a table booked in the speciality where the food was subsidised ever so slightly, it was ok and we had a nice evening and for 4 of is was about €105 that we paid for when we left the restaurant. Upon checkout we were charged the exit fee or per night charge plus there was a €7 charge for 1 cheesecake from the speciality restaurant (it was 100%) not our cheesecake as we wasn't in that restaurant that day only for breakfast, luckily there wasn't to much aggro about not paying for it, however if it had been a full meal it may have got a bit tricky as you cannot prove you didn't have it. If it has been charged the room. Would we return, unfortunately not but it is a lively well kept hotel.
