We visited the hotel in December 2023 (not in January 2024) and a good experience. The hotel had some maintenance with the gym, and we had to find a solution together with the hotel to use another gym. Had to travel with the hotel taxi but it was difficult as we were tied to times. Else the hotel was informed that we were vegetarians and made new dish almost every day both for lunch and dinner (ensuring we got vegetarian protein). For the experience with restaurant hotel we would give 5+! Just excellent the way they took care of us. Hotel had a beach not far away, inside swimming pool and a hotel bus. The cleaning and ppl working there in restaurants as well are polite and nice. Loved this place

Loved the nice people working there, the drink bar was amazing!! Thought it was great having people cleaning your room:) the wiew outside was AMAZING, loved all the greenery around the hotel (actually!!), the decoration outside and inside gave a great vibe!! Thought it was great having people cleaning your room:) the wiew outside was AMAZING, loved all the greenery around the hotel (actually!!), the decoration outside and inside gave a great vibe!! Food tasted great :) I didn’t really like the first room I got, so It was great that I could switch to another room!! :D bad things: I wish we could order snacks, and only have one meal instead of 5 meals everytime we wanted to eat :) AMAZING HOTEL :D

“Plain but comfortable”

High marks for helpful, pleasant and attentive staff! They do a very good job looking after guests. High marks for helpful, pleasant and attentive staff! They do a very good job looking after guests. Pool was maintained and grounds were clean, although the chaise loungers are in desperate need of replacing. Some of the things that lowered my rating were: very thin towels that might once have been white; not a speck of interior room decor - just clean beds, sink, shower with decent hot water and a balcony. Rooms spartan - no art of any kind on the walls or hallways. Would be nice to have a box of tissues, a kettle and magnifying mirror in bathroom? Perhaps some larger or thicker bath mats (bathroom tile floor dangerously slippery when wet). Overall a fabulous location with the beautiful beach a 3-min walk away. If you go expecting a spartan and slightly tired facility with decent food and good staff, you’ll enjoy your time in Porto Santo.

All inclusive beverages are poor and meals just average. Ferrum restaurant turn out to be the most comfortable . Regardless, Porto Santo is a must!
