“Golf break at its very best!”

Probably the best all inclusive hotel I have ever been to. Went as a group of eight golfers and couldn’t be more satisfied with the whole experience. On arrival we were greeted outside and taken straight through to reception where we were hive luggage tags and sent into dinner. It was almost finished but what we had was excellent and the staff were really helpful. Back to reception to fill in the forms, our luggage had already been taken to our room. We were given metal water flasks which could be filled and one of the many water machines. Next morning the breakfast was great. It is a German owned hotel group so expected a continental style and were surprised to have all the hot options as well and the standard was great. And one again the staff were superb. After previous golf breaks where we had to sneak food out to have on the golf course, here they even provided paper bags. Each evening was a different theme at dinner, Hawaiian, Black and White, even a gala night with fillet steaks and oysters! Drinks at the bar were proper makes, no cheap alternatives. Most guest were German and they expected the best and they got it here. They were also very friendly. As to the golf, both courses were very good and well maintained, loads of practice facilities and the hotel even had machines near the entrance that cleaned your clubs etc. plus lockers if you wanted one and push trolleys to take your clubs back to the room. So, golf great, meals great, rooms great and staff superb.

Our family of three spent a lovely 2 weeks at this hotel at the beginning of June. Facilities were spotlessly clean, food was great, little baby pool was useful (although very cold) and the staff were friendly. As others have mentioned, this is a German resort, therefore everything is catered towards this. Most of the staff could speak good English, but we did struggle with the language barrier a couple of times. We found this hotel good for our 18 month old as it had a nice pool and kids club where we could use the facilities (books, huge sand pit, drawing etc). The hotel also provided a baby package in our room free of charge which was a nice touch. This included a small bath, bottle warmer and changing mat. Major downside was the dinner meal time (7:30pm) and huge rush to get a table to ourselves when dinner opened. We found this really stressful and it was clear that people did not want to sit on a shared table. With a baby, we felt very awkward having to intrude on other people’s dinners. It is also very late for children to eat. We tried the early child meal (5:30pm), but this was successful as it meant that our baby had to sit through our mealtime afterwards. It would have been much easier if we could have all eaten at the earlier time. Other families faced the same issue - management please consider moving dinner slightly earlier for families. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn’t return with older children. I feel they would find it hard to utilise a kids club where everyone else is speaking German. P.S - we stayed in room 121 which was great. Ground floor which was good for the pram and on a corner south/ west facing looking onto golf course.

This is a great, well run/maintained hotel and the golf courses are immaculate, there was only one fault for us and that was it was really a hotel catered for Germans! It was predominantly German spoken entertainment and the TV in the rooms was German TV. We felt a little excluded to be honest . This should be something that you are advised when booking as if we had known we would have gone elsewhere!

“Just ok.”

Overall ok. Nice pool, good food, nice drinks. Clean kids club. Things that let it down, ants, lots of ants. Got into my baby formula in my room. We’re in some of the bread rolls at dinner. Overall ok. Nice pool, good food, nice drinks. Clean kids club. Things that let it down, ants, lots of ants. Got into my baby formula in my room. We’re in some of the bread rolls at dinner. Nightmare. The bird poo on chairs could be cleaned more often. It’s not nice to sit down to dinner on a chair with poo on it. Dinner is at 7.30 and if you don’t queue up from 7.15 onwards you don’t get a table. Guests racing for a table. This means you have other guests asking to share your table which isn’t ideal. So if you have kids with you then dinner is very regimented, bear this in mind. Kids dinner (pre booked) was just strange. Families that pre booked meals for an earlier sitting all sat round one table like a kids party. Again, not ideal. Entertainment/music starts far too late for families, 9.45. So if you’re with young kids you have to miss out. There was a kids disco at 5.30-5.45 which was 2 German songs and then it finished. Very poor. 95% of guests are German. Also bear this in mind. Hotel is not in walking distance of anything and the beach isn’t a proper beach. The rooms are SO dark. Very depressing. Terrible lighting and very dated. Need refreshing and brightening up. One day our room didn’t get cleaned, and reception said they are cleaned up until 5pm, by which time it’s too late. Again, not suitable for families. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again as in my opinion it’s not suitable for families.
