“A Hotel of peace and a Haven of comfort.”
My wife and I have just returned having enjoyed a two week stay. (03.May to 16th.) May It was our second time at the hotel and it hasn't changed at all. My wife and I have just returned having enjoyed a two week stay. (03.May to 16th.) May It was our second time at the hotel and it hasn't changed at all. It is still the same beautiful hotel as before. The staff as usual were superb and we will be visiting again next year. Our room was a Standard Room and it was so comfortable. I requested a room on the ground floor prior to arrival as my wife has mobility problems and it was ready and waiting when we arrived. The Reception, Dining and Bar staff were excellent, any requests made were met with a broad smile and seen to. This is a hotel not to be missed.

We are currently staying at this hotel. Can't fault it. Location is 10 minute walk to lidl and the weekly gyspy market. 35 minutes into centre of quarteira. We are currently staying at this hotel. Can't fault it. Location is 10 minute walk to lidl and the weekly gyspy market. 35 minutes into centre of quarteira. They do run a shuttle bus if you don't want to walk. There is a nice country walk if you take 1st right out of hotel, brings you out just past lidl. Hotel is peaceful and quiet. There are 2 small restaurants 5 minutes walk away, and the vilasol complex nearby. Rooms comfy with good heating/air con. Satellite TV. Cleaned daily and towels changed every day. Standard rooms have a ground floor terrace, superior rooms have balcony plus kettle and fridge and are larger. Very good buffet breakfast, although the hotel is really quiet at the moment. Lovely pool area, Bar prices are very expensive compared to local prices, and a happy hour would be nice, so we did not utilise the bar. If you like peace and quiet and enjoy walking I would recommend this hotel. There are very few British guests here, and if you want a more lively or central location it may not be for you, but overall its a great hotel.

“Quiet and peaceful. Couples and solo hotel”
I wrote a review halfway through our stay. We booked for 5 months and then extended by 16 days. Hotel is quite remote, alhough they do run a courtesy bus to quarteira. The area suits us as it is in the countryside and we enjoy walking and don't want to be in the centre which is high rise buildings.… more
I wrote a review halfway through our stay. We booked for 5 months and then extended by 16 days. Hotel is quite remote, alhough they do run a courtesy bus to quarteira. The area suits us as it is in the countryside and we enjoy walking and don't want to be in the centre which is high rise buildings. Hotel itself is very quiet. Stayed first in the 1st floor superior room, then moved to ground floor which has a beautiful garden area. No fridge or kettle in these rooms, but you can hire. Hotel relies on sporting groups who stay over the weekend sometimes, and local workers. Without thus trade I think they would struggle to keep going in winter. There is alot of potential not being utilised. Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day which is unessesary. Everyone takes food away from the breakfast table, and the bar is empty because it is not advertised and no happy hour. Wine €4. Beautiful cafe nearby has wine for €2 a glass. Although we loved the hotel and extended, they did nothing to appreciate us, even though we wanted to book again next year. We had scaffolding up for 7 days due painting, no apology or goodwill gesture. No complimentary gift at Christmas. Hotel rates are extortionate. We booked through an agent as they are much cheaper. We asked about staying an extra night because of our return flight, and even after 5 months they did not offer us a discount. I would still go back. Its a lovely, quiet hotel. No children or noise, bit the service side or appreciation as a valued customer needs attention.
