“Great hotel”

We have stayed in the Jupiter twice in the last two years. It's a fantastic hotel. Spotless clean. Rooms are lovely Seaview room is fantastic. Staff are lovely make you welcome as soon as you arrive. We have stayed in the Jupiter twice in the last two years. It's a fantastic hotel. Spotless clean. Rooms are lovely Seaview room is fantastic. Staff are lovely make you welcome as soon as you arrive. We were made welcome from Gina,Marcos,Nana, Can't remember the other staff's name's but all lovely. Cocktail's ar lovely Meal's are very good Resort is nice and peaceful. Ray and Karl's wee pub outside the hotel is a lovely wee place. Both men are very nice and friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit in Dec 2025. Cannot fault the hotel everyone and everything is just brilliant.

Celebrated Christmas and 2nd time this year staying at Jupiter. The hotel had a lovely vibe in it for Christmas. Staff are excellent both at reception and bar area. Christmas morning had a lovely atmosphere at the pool. Only enjoyed entertainment the night we arrived. It would have been nice to have some entertainment Christmas eve/ day. Thanks to the bar staff for serving us cocktail on Christmas night at 11.55 when I knew they probably wanted to go home. Housekeeping is excellent except can be very late in afternoon. Rooms are spotless and hotel very nicely decorated for Christmas. Staff at breakfast area very pleasant and always warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Already looking forward to returning next Christmas

Today is the last day of our sunny Christmas break, and the excellent service and friendliness is the top of our list of  positives that we will remember about this fine hotel. Other positives ... our room, comfortable and very well maintained. We are on the 4th floor, #403, with a beautiful view of the Atlantic and stunning sunsets. We visited the outside/exterior area to relax on the sunbeds, and we enjoyed lunchtime snacks and drinks nearly every day! Once again, good courteous service with a smile. Another positive was the cleanliness of all areas ~ everywhere was meticulously cared for and very attractive, all beautifully decked out for Christmas. I particularly loved the Nativity scenes handmade by each hotel department - they are truly delightful and show their appreciation for the season. We stayed on a half board basis, and the variety of dishes both at breakfast and dinner was amazing - always something to please all palates! If the plates had been stacked on some kind of heating device, it would definitely have added to our enjoyment. Warm food on cold plates resulted in cold food!  The only other negatives and absolutely no fault of the hotel was the noise while dining. During our 10-days, two large groups of sporting young people (very lively!) stayed, so unfortunately, we rarely enjoyed a calm, quiet meal as the atmosphere and noise was similar to dining in a canteen! However, our visit has been lovely -  many thanks to the fine staff who enhanced our enjoyment and our best wishes for 2025.

We read all the reviews for this hotel and picked it on those reviews. What a mistake. We feel that the people who wrote those reviews had such a bad experience they wanted others to have a taste of it. This hotel is not 4 * plus. Hotel was very clean, staff were very pleasant and nice. However, this hotel were catering for 90 - 95% British. Quality of food was average. Choice of food was not. Cooked breakfast, catering for Brits was below average. The fried eggs were all dried up as though they had been cooked at 04:00 and then warmed up. Tinned mushrooms. Baked beans were lukewarm. Tuscan spicy sausage or Chicken sausage most of the time. Had Pork sausage twice. Pizza and Quiche. Watered down Porridge. Sauce, Salt and pepper in a packet. Wooden spatula to stir your tea. Had to use juice glass to put milk in. Moor like a back street cafe in Birmingham. Continental breakfast was ok but nothing special, about 4 or 5 different cheeses and different ham. Fruit station was above average. Evening meals were not that much better. Christmas eve meal, which the Portuguese celebrate, was not too bad, we chose the Iberian pork steak along with fresh veg. The food was cooked well but not a good choice. Christmas day meal was poor. The stuffed turkey looked like reformed Turkey, the only veg was a slice of Aubergine topped with a slice of Tomato. I had Pork and rice with a few roast potatoes. The pool area was like a concrete patio. 40 sunbeds for a potential guest list of 368. Location was unpleasant. You had to pay to use the indoor pool, Really? And finally, the entertainment was very poor. Almost non existent. We had one good night on the Saturday before Christmas. To top it all off, a group of Dutch lads arrived for a football training camp 3 days before we left. They were rude, ill mannered and disrespectful. Even the staff were moaning about them. All in all for us, this was a poor holiday. My wife and myself go away every Christmas. This was the first one I was glad to get home from!!!! Will not be returning and certainly will not recommend.
