“Great stay great place ”

Can't fault spacious apartment very well maintained great staff lovely pool area and very close to all the amenities in praia da rocha.will be coming again next year.Appartments on side of building in the shade but that suits us as it keeps apartment cool easy to sleep

“Pleasantly surprised but few issues”

Lovely clean spacious 2 bedroom self-catering apartment for 2 adults and 2 teens. TV in main lounge and another TV in the bedroom. There's a small extendable drying rack out on the balcony and there are electronic shutters to keep out the sun . Housekeeping is every day. The children stayed in the bedroom with the two single beds. They slept well. Unfortunately, the sofa bed in the lounge was not so comfortable. The trundle pullout bed was fine, however the bed on the sofa itself was terrible.Everytime I turned or moved in the bed, it would creak loudly and disrupted my sleep. I later discovered that it was due to the plywood base having a poorly repaired crack...it had in fact been broken badly by previous occupants and the maintenance people attempted to fix it just by gluing a patch of wood on top. Terrible work. I have attached photos of the cracked base. I did not complain because I just ended up putting my mattress on the floor and sleeping there. And if you head round to the back of the hotel staff car park area, you can see that there is a graveyard of these old sofabeds so they are getting rid of them - I assume that they've had similar problems with them. So check the base of your sofabed when you do check-in Other than that there were only a few minor issues.... there was no ice cube tray, no cereal bowls or mugs (Us Brits like to eat cereal for breakfast). There was no lock on our bathroom door. Housekeeping frequently provided us with incorrect numbers of bath towels. I guess the other issue which is a bit unpleasant for some, was that we had silverfish in our room. Usually near the skirting board or on the wall. I'm ok with them but I did worry a little whilst sleeping on the floor in the night! Not sure where they came from but one did go under front door and into the corridor. Very strange. the pool was clean and there were no issues with getting sun loungers throughout the day. I found the pool to be absolutely freezing (although I find most pools cold but this was freezing) There are no lifeguards and the Pool closes at 8. Some people had inflatables in use in the pool and our kids played with a mini football in the pool. There is only 1 small lift which serves all floors. So at peak times, be prepared to wait a while to get into the lift. We used the stairs to go down in the mornings because the lift was quite busy with people checking out. We had pizzas at the bar one night. They were ok. Not brilliant but ok and meant we didn't have to cook for one night. The hotel is in a very good location. We used 3 mini supermarkets nearby, and a larger one hidden off the main street. The Bar also serves hot bread from bakery nearby. Beachfront is a 5-10min walk away but another 2- 5 minutes to get down steps to the sandy beach. Overall, we had a pleasant holiday staying here and would stay in this hotel again (but I'd check the bed first as soon as I've checked in!)

This is a good hotel, the staff are accommodating and friendly and the apartment we stayed in was spacious and clean we had clean towels every day, the pool and pool area is well kept with plenty of sun beds. This is a good hotel, the staff are accommodating and friendly and the apartment we stayed in was spacious and clean we had clean towels every day, the pool and pool area is well kept with plenty of sun beds. NO NEED TO PUT TOWELS DOWN. It was less than 10 mins. walk into the town centre. I would recommend this hotel and go back again
