Great for walk quiet and clean. It was not busy in March. I walked from Praia de Santo Antonio, good for couples, families and solo ;) there are bikes for rent in Monte Gordo and you can continue cycling to further explore the area, fair infrastructure and lots of places with fresh seafood on the w… more

“Good start Holiday”
2nd time in Monte Gordo, first time in this hotel. Saw the review: a few bad and a few good. My first day I arrived early around 11.30 but the room was ready, so no problem. People wrote about the terrible food. I had no problem. Food was warm. Breakfast was good. No tea but water or juice is there… more

“Monte Gordo in the summer”
The best: the food. That came as a surprise - full board was very convenient for us. Meals were simple, tasty and with enough diversity throughout our stay. Second best: proximity to the beach. “Ok, but…..”
We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. The positives: 1. The staff were all friendly 2. It’s close to the beach and there are a lot of bars in a short walk 3. The room was very clean. The negatives 1.
