“A great short stay at Christmas”

Had 5 nights here over Christmas and had not been to this hotel before. The rooms were really spacious. A great size dining kitchen and lounge area with a separate bedroom. Ample wardrobe space but hangers were difficult to move on the rails. The kitchen was really well equipped and you have to leave a €50 deposit on arrival which I knew about from other reviews. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and probably better than other hotels I’ve stayed at on the Algarve. The atmosphere is quiet and considering the hotel was full I didn’t actually see a huge amount of people around. There is a happy hour in the bar is good value and there is a big screen on there playing sports matches too. Room cleaned every day even Christmas Day, I put do not disturb on to save her cleaning but she still came in a cleaned ! Overall a really great stay.

“Amazing”

As soon as you enter you are made to feel welcome. Clean rooms, great views, there is equipment for self catering if you want to use it, but why cook on holiday. We had fantastic Christmas dinner, and breakfast you can not complain about. Will definitely be back.

Loverly hotel was self catering in disabled room but bathroom was not upto what we classed as a disabled room not bars on both sides of toilet and shower was too small had seat inside and one bar but this was half in shower and half outside so when had shower water went over floor.only used restaur… more

“Wasn’t what I was looking for.”

The hotel is probably great in the summer but definitely not a winter destination. Especially over Xmas. Room was great. Downside no English channels on TV. Probably wouldn’t need in the summer. Found hotel to be very corporate and not at all homely. Didn’t find staff very friendly. Bar in evenings… more

The hotel is probably great in the summer but definitely not a winter destination. Especially over Xmas. Room was great. Downside no English channels on TV. Probably wouldn’t need in the summer. Found hotel to be very corporate and not at all homely. Didn’t find staff very friendly. Bar in evenings was empty with nothing planned over Xmas. Before booking I checked that there were transport links to hotel as not able to walk long distances. Was told bus stops outside hotel. There were but buses don’t run there in the winter. So not much to walk to. On 2nd day I contacted Jet2 to move to another hotel. Took them 2 days to do it and charged me £340. Am still trying to get some back. Moved to a hotel in Tavira and had a lovely stay. Lovely little town with plenty of places to walk.
