“Good hotel, great location but still lacking”

The hotel is ideally located, it just needs a damn good update of the communal areas. Please sort the health club part out. The showers in the rooms are great, whilst the ones in the health club are not from a 4 star hotel. They look a discoloured yellow plastic from the 1960s. On the day I went there there were 2 saunas both had out of order signs on. 1 steam room out of order. The shower inbetween the sauna and steam room had no shower head. There were 2 in the mens changing room one had a shower head but the knob to turn it on had been removed. The other had no head. I’ve got pictures of all of this it was farcical.

The hotel is located in a perfect location beside the marina and old town. Easy to walk throughout the city or take Uber if you’re going further. The hotel is located in a perfect location beside the marina and old town. Easy to walk throughout the city or take Uber if you’re going further. Be prepared to almost get lost in the hotel as it’s built on a hillside in little blocks and it’s confusing how to find your way to your room the first few times, once you get the hang of it, you’ll enjoy it. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed. The front desk staff were not warm and friendly upon my arrival and rarely smiled, but I did my best to get them warmed up and by the end, they were much more accommodating. The breakfast was extremely good and had a great variety of foods both local and international. Some of the spa facilities were out order but I didn’t have time to utilize them anyway.

My mother would have said it’s a sandwich short of a picnic and that is the case with this hotel. So many things not quite right or not working. Half the spa is not functioning and the gym is a safety hazard with non working and rusty equipment. I asked for some ice from the bar D was told to use… more

My mother would have said it’s a sandwich short of a picnic and that is the case with this hotel. So many things not quite right or not working. Half the spa is not functioning and the gym is a safety hazard with non working and rusty equipment. I asked for some ice from the bar D was told to use room service where there is a minimum charge of €5. The outdoor pool area is nice but looking dated. They say it’s a 4 star hotel but it’s 3 at best. The staff have changed since I was last there and there are no nice touches like enjoy your day out hope you have enjoyed your stay. We stopped in block c which is like dungeon. You need to avoid in there so called superior rooms It’s well placed being close to the Lagos old town and the buffet breakfast is good but unchanging.
