Vila Branca is an excellent hotel and we will definitely be staying there again. It is located in a great area, just a short 15-20min walk from the centre of Lagos. It has two main pools and two smaller pools which were great for my young daughter to safely paddle in independently. There is a bar & restaurant on site which has great food & drinks at an affordable price. There is also a local shop near to the entrance of the hotel again which I found to be very reasonably priced and had everything we could need. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with any of our enquiries. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and a cot was provided for our daughter to sleep in. The apartment is a great size and had more than enough room for the 3 of us. There was a daily cleaning service which was very appreciated. The only thing that would have made the service provided complete would be the provision of laundry facilities. We had none in our apartment and I am not aware if the hotel provides any. All in all this is a great hotel and we will definitely be staying here again.

“Would return for sure!”

All around excellent experience. Nice,roomy , very clean. Location is very good, restaurants and beaches within walking distance. The pool is nice although not heated. Same with the small hot-tub located next to it. Recommended! Would love to go back!

Just returned home. Stayed as part of a group. We had a 2 bed apartment which was huge and 2 bathrooms. Lots of storage space, well equipped kitchen. Just returned home. Stayed as part of a group. We had a 2 bed apartment which was huge and 2 bathrooms. Lots of storage space, well equipped kitchen. Pool area nice one has new sunbeds and other needs them as not so good, they were very comfortable. Pool a little cold at first. We ate breakfast once which was good value for money as you can help yourself, only a few cooked things but plenty of other choices. Room kept clean only comment is could have done with another sofa or couple soft chairs as had to sit on dining chairs, and sofa bed sofa not the most comfortable. Nice 15 walk to beaches and town, good little supermarket opposite. Overall would recommend and would go back. Food in restaurant also good, great lunchtime sandwiches.

for Villa Branca 972653987 Where to start , We had a one bedroom apartment at Villa Branca on arrival my sister in law thought someone had pinched the furniture, there is are big main areas but only contain a 2 seater settee a square 4 seater table and chairs a coffee table and a lamp and a television There is a small kitchenette but has no oven , but did have a washing machine .The balcony contained a table and 2 chairs , considering this is for 3 to 4 people apartments the furniture is sparse The settee is also a double bed which i must say is the most uncomfortable bed setee i have ever slept on , fair play we asked for an extra mattress and were given a mattress topper , but we still had to put cushions under the bars under both mattress .There is only one wardrobe with only a half hanging rail so no good for dresses .Shelving on the other side but the top shelf is unreachable unless your over 6 ft The bathroom door opened straight on to the toilet , although there is a doorstop on the floor this is a hazard for your feet so we covered it over with a towel .3adults shared this apartment all older people we had one shelf which never got cleaned because of all of the stuff we had on it , but not the cleaners fault another shelf or a draw could of been added ,as the 2 bedroom apartments had 2 bathrooms with 2 draws under the sink and were huge .We paid for a pool view but could only see a 1/4 of the childs pool and a small edge of the adult pool .I went straight to reception to upgrade or change but was told they were fully booked .Unfortunately it rained for 2 days so we were stuck in the apartment which was most uncomfortable as the bed is too awkward to keep changing back to a settee , so my husband had to sit at the table , also with no oven we couldn’t cook and no dishes small enough to put in the microwave .Saying that the staff were friendly the pool was always empty except for us 9 plus a couple of others Would i go back yes but would definitely get a 2 bedroom apartment .The one bedroom in my opinion is just for 2 people although i’m sure younger people would cope but if you had children they would have to have the bedroom if they needed to go to bed early but i’m just a fussy person The bar could also be a bit cheaper as there is a bar just across the road which is much cheaper
