Isabella and Bernardo made our stay in Faro with their excellent advice on sightseeing and restaurants. They even helped us navigate an issue we had with our rental car. Breakfast was served on the rooftop with incredible views of the main harbor. Extremely walkable to shopping and restaurants. The beach was one of the best I’ve ever traveled too.

Isabella and Bruno are an asset to the company. I arrived at the hotel very early. They took my luggage in and held it for me while I went out and came back, on my arrival Isabella had arranged for my room to ready. We had a wonderful room on the second floor Seaview I would recommend going there. Wonderful breakfast with a good variation the only thing I would recommend that they’ve put a kettle in each room. This is the reason I give them 4 out of 5. I also believe they should update their bedding. The pillows need to be reviewed and be nice to have Egyptian cotton sheets.

Positives: – The staff are professional and courteous, which makes a notable difference throughout your stay. – Breakfast was nice and plentiful. – Roof-top bar has incredible sunset views. Negatives: – “High speed internet” supports speeds of no more than 10Mbps, and sometimes much less. Practically this means even finding somewhere to eat through Google Maps is difficult, never mind movie streaming. It was very infuriating. – Slow food service if ordering snacks from the kitchen, etc. - A bit misleading to claim they have a beach bar. It’s 9km away with a free 45 minute transfer. – I had to double check on my booking that I did pay extra for a superior room as it was very basic. No kettle, tea, or milk in the room, only a coffee machine and complementary bottled water. – Cleanliness was an issue. Stained curtains and bed sheets, dusty bathroom, dirt on the tiles, and bad odour – Throughout the hotel, there were many things which were broken or poorly maintained. 1. In the room the toilet seat and bath were scuffed, the shower head with some stains on, the shower leaked all over the floor, a noticeable lack of soundproofing around the room door which was visible through a light gap (I could hear people showering down the hallway). 2. In the rest of the hotel, the pool features (including the bubbles) were mainly not working or switched off. Staff didn’t know how to turn them on, and only one overhead water flow worked. The water temperature heater was turned off and I only realised after it got much hotter afterwards. 3. The sauna and steam room is turned off and you have to request it to be turned on which takes about 20 minutes. There is a phone line in the spa but reception don’t always answer. The overhead shower in the gym was broken and you were just left to it – there was no one on site to help find a locker key, tell you when the sauna was ready, etc.

One night stay, close to airport, is bearable. Hotel is badly designed, steps at entrance, so if you have luggage you have to carry up some steep steps. One night stay, close to airport, is bearable. Hotel is badly designed, steps at entrance, so if you have luggage you have to carry up some steep steps. Rooms are basic to say the least, think Ibis/Travelodge. Breakfast was good and in the breakfast rooms, views, was the only positive. There are not many hotels in Faro, so limited choice but would only stay one night here.
