“Great Experience”
Myself and my partner stayed here in May 2024. We both loved this hotel so much we was so happy with the experience here! Myself and my partner stayed here in May 2024. We both loved this hotel so much we was so happy with the experience here! We arrived quite late to the hotel, but the receptionist was very helpful and explained everything to us, which was appreciated a lot. The room was so spacious, and so clean. The cleaners came every day and were so friendly. The Pool area is very nice and relaxed, with a bar at the pool! The hotel is in an ideal location of Carvoeiro, and is a 10 minute walk maximum to the local town with a beautiful beach and restaurants We enjoyed our stay so much, we would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay

We were a party of 3 girls and we stayed at the Carvoeiro Hotel for 4 nights. We had a super experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was very spacious with really comfortable beds. The staff couldn't have been nicer, so helpful and always pleasant in particular Sandra, Beatrice, Jose and Diogo. The breakfast was excellent and the Tuna Salad on the lunch menu was particularly good. We had such a lovely few days and would recommend this hotel.

The staff couldn't do enough for you, it was clean and the rooms were spacious. The food was delicious and the prices were fantastic. This is a beautiful hotel sitting high on a hill in a residential area of town. My wife and I are staying in room 224 being a room with a view of their pool and grounds. The employees are friendly and accommodating. This is a peaceful and quiet neighborhood and we were upset when the announcement of a LIVE BAND PLAYING FROM 8:00 pm UNTIL 11:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS! THE COUNTY WESTERN RACKET WAS EYE WATERING! I cannot see the neighbors putting up with this. I cannot recommend staying here. Two of our five nights here were ruined. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR ACCOMMODATIONS.

“Definitely not 4* hotel in the middle of nowhere!”

Had a wk half-board. Online photos are very deceiving. Decor, furniture & rooms very dated & tired. Definitely not a 4* hotel. Its situated on top of a very steep hill, if you don't drive its a nightmare walking back from the town, bars, restaurants & beach in the heat. There's nothing around the hotel area, so no choice but to head down to the beach front & taxi back to hotel which was expensive. Food was very poor, basic & repetitive each day. On my final evening meal I made a big mistake & ate the prawns.....nxt morning I was frequently on & off the toilet. At 14.30 I began to feel ill at the airport whilst waiting for our flight. Thankfully I made it home without messing myself in public! Spent 4 days in bed & lost 7lb in weight. Emailed the hotel to inform them of my illness & asked if there were any other guests reported being ill? Was told no & they would send off all specimens of the food for analysis. I had to chase them for results & management said nothing showed up. I politely asked for a copy of the report to send to my holiday company & received a very rude reply threatening me with their lawyers! So no proof of food analysis & their word against mine!
