What a bargain for a great holiday. Apartment: Booked a 1 bedroom flat (3 of us). Rooms were huge, light, airy and cool. A huge balcony off the living room and a second smaller one off the kitchen. Blackout curtains in each room, beds were a little hard for us but thats personal choice. There are 5 buildings of flats, ours was not near the pool which was fine so nice ad quiet during the evening. There was some noise from people coming and going as the hallways are echo-ey but nothing too much of a bother. Cleaners came every other day which we weren't expecting. Even on the Sunday when they knocked around 9 but we were too hungover, they came back later in the afternoon when we were out which was a lovely surprise. Kitchen: No oven. We felt such fools having bought a pizza to cook only to find out we had no oven. No biggie, we got a takeaway from the bigger next town over. Be careful not to leave crumbs on the floor in the kitchen or food on the counter, we had an ant problem. Again, no biggie we just made sure to leave the kitchen spotless. Staff: Everyone was so lovely. Reception staff helped us book a rental car. Cleaners really lovely too. Pool staff were fun and friendly. Food and drinks: We went self catering so don't know what would be included but we did go to the on site cafe/restaurant a couple times. Had some really tasty burgers/sandwiches/breakfast. Great iced coffee too. Lovely place to sit out in the sun. Pool: The pool was so much bigger than I was expecting. Really clean and plenty of sunbeds. There is a pool bar which was handy. We only really had beers (small for $2 which we thought was alright). Water station by the bar to refill your bottles. No parasols around the pool but there were parasol stands so looks like people brought their own. Nice grassy area at each end of the pool with sunbeds. Check in/out: Super easy. We arrived early so we were able to leave our bags in the luggage room by reception until check in. Same with check out, our flight wasn't until late so left bags in the luggage room and spent the day at the pool. Area: It's a nice quiet area, lively enough without being too much. Short walk to the beach. I recommend you take the beach/cliff path to the East to Armacao de Pera. The cliff walk is not too taxing and takes around 30 minutes. The views are stunning. Had such a great week here, would definitely recommend and would go back.

Rooms are massive and clean. Plenty of space if you have children. Kitchen was well equipped, local supermarket is 10 mins up the road there is a bigger one about 15 mins further up. Sweet spot next door is great, the staff were brilliant, the food and drinks were really good. The only thing we didn’t really like that was that you needed a fob to get into the pool which was pain if we weren’t going to the pool at the same time. We had to stand at the gate shouting for someone to let us in. There is a kids club next to the pool in a shaded area which our children loved, they went every day. There are different activities throughout the day. There is a little train ride which is €4pp which is a hop on and off but goes into the next big town. All in all we enjoyed our holiday here.

Mostly had a great stay here, staff were friendly and provided entertainment around the pool such as yoga, aquagym and table tennis. Drinks were good and reasonably priced and our apartment was clean and spacious with a great shower. Only downside was the noise at night. Loud music until nearly 1am from the cafe below, the doors in the apartments slam shut, seagulls and cockerels in the early hours of the morning.

“Good 3* hotel with some things to improve ”

We came here as a large group of girls. They were very accommodating. Really kind staff. Unfortunately we're next door to a really loud room.. they party until 4am, and the walls must be super thin because i can hear eveything they say and do! Doors slam so loud and echo. Unfortunately we're next door to a really loud room.. they party until 4am, and the walls must be super thin because i can hear eveything they say and do! Doors slam so loud and echo. No lifts and we're on 4th floor. The food choices are okay.. not 5* quality but i suppose the hotel is only 3*. Pool lovely and clean. No parasols provided and everything seems to need a 10euro deposit such as towels and extra key cards. Good large balcony. Probably wouldn't come back here but we've had a good time - good budget hotel Thanks very much.
