After reading some of the reviews we went here with an open mind. We arrived at reception to find both members of staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was 324 in block 3. One flight of stairs so no bother. The room was a 1 bedroom with 2 balcony’s, large lounge/kitchen area. We were B&B and the food was basic but ok. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and informative. Great swimming pool and pool bar. Attached to the Ukino was a bar called Sweetspot and it was. A great little bar and great staff. No complaints here. I found about 20 restaurants in the local area and ate in 6. The area has a few hills but doable. There was 2 fantastic beaches very close but there are steps or a steep road getting down to them. We really enjoyed this cheap 3* Hotel. Great value for money.

“Nice hotel”

Room was really clean and was a lovely view and staff was really good all of them know how to speak so many languages the cleaning staff was really nice we always said Ola and they always replied really nice especially the reception and on Halloween we gave them sweets

First time at this hotel and can't really find much to complain about. Very large room with fridge freezer, and cooking facilities, microwave, kettle, toaster, all the usual really. First time at this hotel and can't really find much to complain about. Very large room with fridge freezer, and cooking facilities, microwave, kettle, toaster, all the usual really. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool, although we just walked down to the beach everyday (10 mins). Nice cafe/bakery on site, cakes, sandwiches, toasties, wine/beer and all at very reasonable prices. There are a few nice restaurants within easy walking distance, especially the New Delhi indian which we really liked, also a nice steakhouse and a couple of Italian restaurants too. Supermarket is only a 10 minute walk away which has all you need and the local biggest town is only around 20 minutes on foot, downhill going, which means, yes ... coming back is more of an effort. Would i return, no because we like to go somewhere different each time but i would certainly recommend a stay here.

“Don't recommend fully inclusive”

Visited on 2nd to 6th October, fully inclusive, 3 adult ladies. We arrived at 11pm, on checkin, we were told fully inclusive had finished and there was nothing available for us! Visited on 2nd to 6th October, fully inclusive, 3 adult ladies. We arrived at 11pm, on checkin, we were told fully inclusive had finished and there was nothing available for us! We were eventually given a bottle of water between 3 adults. This is an apart-hotel with blocks up and down the road from the reception area. The pool is away from the blocks and so is the restaurant, so not suitable for those with restricted mobility. There are no lifts to the accommodation, so you have to negotiate the stairs with your luggage. The room it's self was large and spotlessly clean. The only downside was, although we booked as 3 adults, the 3rd bed was a put-u-bed in the living room area!....apparently, unless you book a 2 bedroom apartment, this is the only layout available. Showergel, toilet rolls and hairdryer all present. Fridge freezer, kettle and hob. Take dishcloth and washing up liquid tho...£4 from machine in reception otherwise. Food at restaurant was ok, plenty to choose from...typical fully inclusive food. As far as drinks are concerned, we were made to feel like second class citizens when ordering on fully inclusive basis. Drinks were served in plastic cups, no garnishes on cocktails and only 2 drinks per person allowed at a time. I understand the need for rules, and that's fine, but there were 3 of us, so one person couldn't go to get the drinks for all of us!!! If you were paying for drinks, the cocktails were mixed freshly, shaken and served with garnishes. At Sweet spot, in the evenings, you have to wait in a different area of the bar for your fully inclusive drinks. You can't have gin in a proper gin glass, again it's served in a plastic cup. I was told " fully inclusive people take the glasses to their rooms and they dont come back". I said we were drinking in the bar, but still not allowed a proper glass!!! Paying people get served before you too. You don't get waiter service at your table either, unless you are paying for your drinks!!! This did tarnish our stay and probably, for these reasons, I wouldn't recommend a fully inclusive stay unless things change. After all, you do pre pay for your food and drink! We did enjoy the area, although, again, anyone with mobility issues would struggle to get to the beach. We probably wouldn't stay here again but there were people there who had visited numerous times before. Personal preference I suppose
