“Five star guest relations and front desk team in a lovel ambiance hotel”
Overall experience was lovely , we had a room with a sea view must book and saw some with a private pool looks lovely . The hotel has sauna, indoor and outdoor pool and trendy bar with nice cocktails . Breakfast was average with average to below average no machine coffee . On last day ordered latte… more
Overall experience was lovely , we had a room with a sea view must book and saw some with a private pool looks lovely . The hotel has sauna, indoor and outdoor pool and trendy bar with nice cocktails . Breakfast was average with average to below average no machine coffee . On last day ordered latte and it was great !! Food and beverage manager powder coffee in 30 litre urn is not a solution , average European expects better standards for a five star hotel . The rest was ok except the unfriendly executive housekeeper on request for room cleaning before 4 pm , she kept insisting till 5pm . The reception team and guest relations we super friendly and were attentive to requests and suggestions , I would rate them 5 star without a doubt with such super front office team and guest relations team . Feedback is more friendly waiters and customer service training for the executive housekeeper but her scarf and uniform was clean and looked five star pity the attitude was not the same .

Just spent 2 wonderful weeks with a group of friends from Canada at the Pestana Alvor Praia. The weather wasn’t always the best but we sure could count on the staff here to make our stay special. Everyone at the front reception helped us to plan things to do - special thanks to Rui for helping us to make dinner reservations at different restaurants in town each day! Big thanks, also, to the restaurant staff each morning - welcoming us for a lovely buffet breakfast daily and organizing a table for our group to sit together at. We all had a marvellous time at this very lovely hotel. I highly recommend it for couples, families and friends. You will not find a more scenic beach in all of the Algarve! This Pestana hotel has it all!

“Best hotel in Alvor!”
Just spent 2 weeks at this lovely Pestana hotel, the weather wasn’t good so spent more time in the hotel than would have normally. The hotel is in a lovely spot with lifts down to the beach . Special mention for Joao in the bar who was exceptional in every way , also for Christina in the Beach club office who looked after us .Will definitely go back ! Bill Lee

We have spent a week here; out of season so not all the usual food and drink facilities have been available. However, the hotel is in an excellent location and we have enjoyed easy access to the beach. Our sea view superior room is excellent and kept in great condition by the daily housekeeping staff. I have to say, all of the staff we have encountered have been nothing short of excellent - reception, porters, dining room and bar staff all leave a good impression. Shout out to Monica, Head of Guest Relations who does everything in her power to put the customer first. We have really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a beach holiday.
