This is a hotel with fabulously helpful staff, a host of facilities and a great location. The outdoor pool area is well maintained with (when we stayed) plenty of sun beds. There's a huge heated indoor pool with water slide, a gym, jacuzzi, steam room and spa treatments (our only niggle being that to use the indoor pool you had to purchase swimming caps and slippers at €4 each item per person). Our room was spacious, well equipped & maintained daily (bonus is the tea tray!). The restaurant has a wide selection of continental and hot breakfast options and dinners seem to be on a weekly loop with themed nights a regular feature - again plenty choice. A special mention to the staff for marking both our birthdays with wine and cake - a lovely thoughtful touch. Small niggles were the cost of certain drinks in the restaurant (25ml bottle of water €2.50...), our room being somewhat noisy as it was next to the lift and the fact that our balcony got no sun at all as it was flush to the building rather than protruding - minor gripes from an otherwise great stay.

“Nice hotel, bit rowdy for us.”

It was ok. I brought my two daughters for a week, and although we love Albufeira,we won't be returning to this hotel. The food is lovely, staff are lovely, housekeeping do a great job and the hotel is spotless. It is worth the 4 stars for this! Unfortunately, the hotel had various groups of stag and hen groups staying, and all male groups who were just rowdy and disrespectful by the pool. The staff never seemed to correct them or ask them to calm down so people were getting cross with them and children were staying out of the pool. We stayed on the third floor and overlooked the pool. Room was nice. Every morning we would be woken by music coming from the restaurant below really early (sometimes it was still dark). Last thing you need when you are trying to sleep. The hotel didn't have an all inclusive option which was a real shame. I spent a lot of money on the holiday for half board and drinks were only included at breakfast. We spent a lot more on snacks, lunch and drinks for throughout the day. Even water wasn't free in 32° heat 🥵 The hotel is located in a great spot with the beach only 10 minutes away (downhill). There are some great trips to do in Albufeira and the old town is gorgeous 😍 I noticed one morning that the groundsmen was delivering extra parasols around the pool and asking people if they wanted one. I thought that was a lovely touch ⛱️ Also the gardeners kept the grounds very tidy! The children appeared to be enjoying the animation team but it would have been nice to have some water aerobics for the adults. I would have loved to give this a 5 star review but the rowdy groups and music in the mornings spoiled it for us. One more thing to note. One day it was so hot that a fire started in the grounds outside the hotel by the pool. Hotel management dealt with it brilliantly. The fire brigade arrived within minutes and the staff were very calm and professional. It was impressive.
