It's a wonderful setting, but the accommodation needs a little bit of updating. The kitchen requires the most work. There are only 2 single plug sockets, so you are constantly unplugging appliances - the toaster to use the microwave, and the coffee machine to use the kettle. On the oven, all of the numbers and symbols had disappeared, making it very difficult to use. Luckily the WiFi in the room is excellent and we were able to find a manual online and used that to put the dials where they needed to go. The extractor above the hob didn't work. We used the dishwasher once and then thought better of it, as everything came out dirty and had to be washed by hand. One would suspect it had never been properly cleaned and had not seen rinse aid in a very long time. In the main room, the furniture seems to have been moved about, as there is a low hanging light in front of the sofa bed - we had to put a chair there to stop us constantly banging our heads into it. Again, either side of the bed is one single plug socket, but after speaking to reception we were quickly provided with a couple of adaptors. The telephones in the rooms are merely an ornament, as they are not working, meaning that you have to walk down to reception every time you need to speak with them. There is a safe in the wardrobe, but no Key. In the bathroom, the shower over the bath is just a cheap plastic one. The room was cleaned every other day and the dirty towels were taken away but we were not given any new ones until we walked down to reception to ask. We could not fault the service, as each time we raised a concern, our requests were responded to quickly. The resort has 6 pools, 4 restaurants and snack bars, as well as a 9-hole golf course. In addition, there are tennis courts and a bowling green. There are plans for a lot more construction on the site and one can only hope the new development doesn't detract from the resort's picturesque nature too much.

“Hotel is Perfect”

I honestly don’t know where to start, Rooms were perfect (if you clean them yourself lol im a clean freak so yes) whenever we needed towels they were topped up without asking and we only stayed 4 days, there were plenty the indoor pool you pay like €4 and it was nice clean and warm the pools outs… more

I honestly don’t know where to start, Rooms were perfect (if you clean them yourself lol im a clean freak so yes) whenever we needed towels they were topped up without asking and we only stayed 4 days, there were plenty the indoor pool you pay like €4 and it was nice clean and warm the pools outside were clean and it was very nice I can’t complain about the hotel at ALL it was perfect. Restaurants on Uber eats & taxis are very decent priced on bolt & Uber eats has many food and grocery stores so from takeaway to wines and fridge items it’s perfect. Weather in October was good 18-23 knives & forks given plates pans fridge washing machine dryer Hair dryer brush and mop so you can clean yourself we made a little trip to Aldi to pick up some breakfast bits (coffee & toast) and some fizzy drink etc just usual stuff BUT BUT BUT BUT if your brown and im talking Indian,Pakistani etc just brown in general I honestly wouldn’t recommend Portugal. wherever we went there was just unpleasantness. nasty looks and it was from the locals, tourists were fine and any other white, black people were fine but it was mainly the locals the racism I felt and anywhere we went I felt uncomfortable and that was throughout my stay, this is nothing to do with the hotel this is mainly anything outside the hotel, the underlying feeling of racism will make you red in the face and honestly it’s a shame. The workers were very lovely people very kind and welcoming and that was every cleaner or member of staff I had an encounter with. A very beautiful hotel though 100/10
