“Lovely place”

Rooms-stayed in 114, basic but had all needed. Comfortable beds, good powered shower,air com, black out blinds and washing machine, cleaned every day except Sundays, towels changed every second day. Sheets weekly. Very clean. The pool area and pool bar was spotless, lovely pool. Was a bit weary about previous reviews regarding the noise but only odd noise from guests returning to their rooms, Some young groups there but no disruptions from them at all. The staff were lovely, my daughter had her birthday whilst there and they put up a banner for her and left a card and treats which was a lovely touch. No problem getting sunbeds for the first 7 days but the last 3 days a lot were putting towels down early and not using them a couple of hours later.Afternoon entertainer is very good. Natura is in a great location with plenty of great restaurants, pubs and shops within a few minutes walk. Beach only 12 minutes walk. Highly recommenend Natura Algarve Club and will be returning again

“Fabulous place; we had an amazing time”

On arrival we had to pay 100 euro in cash, which we weren't made aware of (by Jet2) - they don't take cards - but plenty of ATM's around, you def need cash in Portugal as a lot of bars/restaurants do not accept ... more

Was a bit concerned reading the recent reviews however, we were pleasantly surprised. On arrival we had to pay 100 euro in cash, which we weren't made aware of (by Jet2) - they don't take cards - but plenty of ATM's around, you def need cash in Portugal as a lot of bars/restaurants do not accept cards. We had a lovely one bedroomed apartment in the block furthest away from the pool (room 214) and whilst basic it had everything we needed, it was very spacious, huge balcony, a washing machine, and all kitchen essentials. The shutters are amazing they block out every bit of light. The beds are comfortable, it was really clean and most importantly we didn't hear any noise at all (only from the AC unit above the bed!). The resort itself was perfect for us, we don't like it too busy/built up - and whilst it was full, there was a nice mix of families, groups of young people (that were respectful and didn't cause any issues at all). It was nice to see them enjoying themselves. Some conflicting messages from staff about playing with the ball or having any inflatables in the pool which was frustrating - I understand the previous issues but think this can be managed - the big appeal for most young people (especially my boys aged 14 & 11) is playing with balls in the pool...we saw a few disappointed toddlers :( We managed to get a sunbed on the days we needed one; although it did get really busy and we did see towels being put out first thing and no-one using the beds until around lunchtime; there was one morning the staff went and collected them all though and put them in reception. The reception/bar and pool area/grounds are clean, tidy and well kept. The snack bar was perfect, even though we only had a breakfast bagel (which was delicious) we did see the salads and burgers which looked lovely. Happy hour every evening from 6-9pm - house wine for 1.50, can't argue at that! Staff were great, especially Francesca. They do try and put some form of entertainment on most evenings, we loved the sax and the poolside DJ. Location is great - about 10 min walk to Aldi and plenty of bars restaurants around. Nearest beach around 10/15 mins - but all the beaches we went too were super busy, and my sons preferred to be by the pool. My only (slight) grumble is the pool table is 2 euros which was pretty steep considering it wasn't straight so the balls in the bottom pocket kept rolling in - my sons love playing pool so must've spent (I dread to think) a lot of money! and there is no ping pong table as advertised. For the price we paid it far exceed our expectations - its a great little place; we loved it (the pictures don't do it justice)

Just came back from a lovely week in Albufeira. Some of the previous reviews are too harsh or perhaps some people were unfortunate. I booked this hotel in January following good reviews and was a bit mortified reading the recent ones before we flew over. Luckily, we had an amazing stay. I’d say due to the rating of the hotel (3 stars), price and proximity to the strip, it attracts a range of people. There were some families with young children like us, families with teenagers, middle aged people, groups of girls and groups of boys. The latter were mostly French or Dutch, I think if they were English we’d have a different experience when it comes to the level of noise. The apartament was very spacious and absolutely spotless. It was cleaned daily (apart from Sunday) and clean towels every other day. Staff, especially cleaning ladies were lovely. I enjoyed the entertainment, good music, the girl who was doing the bingo and aqua dance was especially charismatic. Lots of shops and restaurants just around the corner with the Intermarché less than 5 mins walk and huge Aldi about 10 mins walk. Pastries and fresh bread from Aldi deserve a separate review as they were out of this world! The atmosphere was super chilled, I’ve never seen pool being empty at 10am before. Plenty of sun beds, nice and quiet, my 4 year old was probably the loudest there. As for the noise, it was a bit more lively about 7-8pm when people were getting ready to go out, but nothing to be concerned about. There was a group of lads directly above our room (typical!) that was a bit silly but literally took a couple of polite requests from us to be quiet and never heard from them again. I heard some people coming back at night, but again, nothing that bothered me. The doors to apartments were quite heavy, so heard the doors slamming more than anything. There was some noise from the hotel next door, but this is not something that can be controlled plus I could only hear them getting back to their rooms that’s all. My little girl slept like a log all week and that says it all. If you compare this to a proper family hotel it’s nothing, no running to “book” sun beds at 6am, no screams or kids tantrums. I think you need to set your expectations right before you come. I feel like this hotel was representative of Albufeira as a whole - I’ve seen more Irish bars than Dublin, Cork and Galway put together but in between there are some amazing authentic bars and restaurants. You’re more likely to have English breakfast than Portuguese steak. For that reason I’m not sure if I would go back there. I’d stay in this hotel again but perhaps in different capacity - I feel like it would be perfect for a girly trip or a family with teenagers. For the price this hotel had a good standard and it was generally cheap in Albufeira - 2 white coffees and Calippo were setting us back less than €5. Some people were complaining about the price at the hotel - cocktail for €7 or a wrap for €6 is cheap or so least much cheaper than home. Uber is very cheap as well - €3/4 to the old town. In the past I paid over £4k for 3 people in a 4 star hotel in Mallorca and apart from kids entertainment, the standard of hotel was very similar, so this is good value for money in my opinion. I think that hotel should take bigger deposit to make it more “unattractive” to groups of lads, as €100 per room is nothing. It should be more like €100 per person. Saying that, we had no issues with any of the groups, most of them were leaving the longer we were there and more families started arriving. Hope this review will help, don’t be scared to book!

“Disappointing rooms. ”

I visited the hotel with my partner and our 2 children aged 9 & 2. The location and the service is the only  good things about this hotel.  Before I start let me state that if you book with British Airways the cash deposit is only 100 euros, the lovely lady at reception had a look at my reservation and confirmed this, she asked me to forward the email to her to show her manager. otherwise it would of been 200. So check your reservation.! The pool is very cold, it needs some Updating there is staining around the grates and the waters edge. There also places we're the grates are loose making it unsafe for young children. The whole complex apart from the reception and cafe area (which is beautifully decorated and served really lovely food and cocktails) is very outdated. I wish the whole complex matched the aesthetic of the reception and bar/cafe. The rooms were such a disappointment and what lets this hotel down tremendously. The room was very outdated almost as if it hasn't been redecorated since the hotel was built.  Although aprearing clean at first glance it was quite dirty and Very worn in places the walls were stained and dirty, as were the corners behind doors ect. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable to sleep in. There is a problem with ants every morning we would wake up to ants all over the floor.  I know this is a self catering hotel and I expected to have to buy a few things when we arrived but the lack of basic necessities for the first night was a shock.  I've been to other self catering hotels where they at least proved some tea bags or some washing up liquid and sponges for the kitchen we didn't even hav an oven tray, I've even received a little welcome basket with a few snacks to get you through the first night, the only thing we were given were a few tiny biscuits. The whole vibe of this hotel was strange it appears they are trying to cater to too wide of a range of visitors. They advertised this as a family hotel. It is not, it was mainly full young groups who where fine during the day but woke us up every night as they came home from their night on the strip. Overall it was an OK stay. They need to figure out their target audience and have a big room referub.
