“Perfect location, accommodation and remarkably kind hosts.”
We chose to stay here due to its location being close to the routes of the Volta ao Algarve cycle race. We chose to stay here due to its location being close to the routes of the Volta ao Algarve cycle race. We stayed here for 8 days and the quiet location, comfortable accommodation and facilities all proved perfect for our needs. the owners Andreia and Alberto also deserve special praise for the concern and kindness they showed when my wife required urgent hospital treatment during our stay - nothing was too much for them. Some may feel that the location is too far from the beaches and Albufeira itself, though renting a car would resolve that problem, plus the peacefulness of the location probably more than compensates for that.

We spent a wonderful week at Apartmentos dos Avós. Andreia is a marvellous host. We had a little studio overlooking the pool, with views of the countryside all the way to the coast; what a scene to wake up to every morning. The apartment was lovely - welcoming and spotlessly clean. We made good use of the pool every day. Laundry facilities and private parking were on hand. There's even barbecue facilities and a pool table. Definitely a place to return to.

“Excellent customer service!! ”
I booked an appartment as a surprise for my brother and sister in law for their vacation and they loved it, they were made to feel so welcome and were treated so well. Andreia Barreto was lovely and took care of them and I cant wait to visit myself.

Have just returned to the UK after a fantastic 2 week stay at Monte dos Avos at Vale de Parra between Guia and the coast at Galé. Have just returned to the UK after a fantastic 2 week stay at Monte dos Avos at Vale de Parra between Guia and the coast at Galé. We stayed at the sister apartments "Flor de Laranja" last year, and have been overjoyed with the welcome, and the facilities at Monte dos Avos this year. The apartments are well appointed, well equipped and set in a beautiful, well maintained garden, with a lovely inviting pool. There are plenty of a bbq facilities, and a laundry room, with 2 washing machines. Yes, you need a car, as it is about 10 minutes drive to the fabulous beach at Galé. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the vicinity, and a marvellous "Apollonia" supermarket, which could teach Waitrose a thing or two about customer service. I highly recommend, and thanks for a wonderful stay, see you next year !

We stayed here during Easter 2019 for 5 days. On arrival we phoned the telephone number on the gate and the Brazilian housekeeper (sorry forgot name) let us in. The housekeeper was brilliant helping us settle in and even gave us a lift to the Algarve Shopping centre! I met the owner on the second morning and he was very pleasant and reassuring, his daughter Andreia helped us the most giving us advice on local attractions and accepting our feedback. The apartment is spacious and exceeds expectations for the category of accommodation. A point to note is you will possibly need to hire a car for travel, however we found Uber to be a good alternative.
