Hotel overall is excellent. My wife and I stayed Self Catering so I can't comment on the breakfast but other guests told me they were very pleased with it. Our room was a spacious one bedroom apartment. It was advertised as having a pool view but it was also a sea view as most at the back of the hotel would probably be. Couldn't really fault the room, although our balcony was right above the outside part of the Riviera Cake shop and snack bar which could be quite noisy at times. The shower was a really good size. Other reviews detail how clean the hotel is. The hotel has a lobby bar which is quiet but pleasant with a little entertainment three nights a week. It has a games room with pool tables, games and the like but also an inside mini golf. Hotel is well situated. About a 20 min walk to the new town (strip) and a 15 min walk to the lovely old town and probably another 10-15 mins on to the marina with a number of restaurant/bars and kiddy entertainments. Two large supermarkets very close by. Tourist train stops just outside. Hotel only takes cash for the food and drink and not cards. A number of the local restaurants also prefer cash. The pool area of the hotel is very nice and had enough sunbeds with umbrellas to go around whilst we were there. The pool snack bar area is very nice with a decent amount of snack food and drink options. Special mention to Shams and Mario who were both very professional and friendly and always happy to take part in a bit of fun banter. We had stayed at this hotel about seven years previous and I'm glad to say we enjoyed just as much on our return.

“Great aparthotel for self caterers.”

Great apartment in an excellent hotel, very clean. Enjoyed the hospitality at the pool bar with the very friendly hosts Shams and Mario, great fun 😊😊 Local amenities include a modern shopping centre with a vey well stocked supermarket within 100m. Would recommend this hotel especially for couples.

Have been here numerous times. Recommend it for its cleanliness, location and friendly staff, particularly in both pool and main bar. No nonsense in the morning racing for beds, although have experienced this on previous visits particularly in July. September ideal time to go, both in terms of climate and calmness ( mostly adults and a few toddlers). Rooms are very clean and are cleaned every day and towels changed every day. We had a pool view studio, which whilst not the roomiest was ideal for 2 and you could walk from the room o we the patio straight to the pool. The one bed pool view apartments are really good and roomy, but on this occasion we felt that it was wasn’t worth another £500. Notice that the Hotel doesn’t do evening meals anymore and as we were self catering, we did not have breakfast in the hotel, preferring the excellent Riviera next door. There is a huge ASDA type supermarket next door which is 1st class. Used the pool bar many times during our stay for drinks and lunch, reasonably priced with good selection of food and drinks. The staff were 1st class. Overall we had a great stay and will go back again, however did feel it was a little expensive, booked through Jet2 and over £3000 for 14 nights self catering was a Bit toppy, don’t know if this is a Jet2 issue or theHotel’s, but would suspect tho would put some off. Just one major gripe, which has been the case for a few years with this Hotel. When paying at the poll Bar and Bar Algarve( the main Bar). They don’t accept card payments, which in this day and age is pretty inconvenient. Not o my that, when paying by cash, you need to ‘feed’ your into a machine, find this system quite ‘clunky’ and would suggest the payment methods at bothers bars should be reviewed. Other than that, had a great time and will be back soon.

The reception and general spaces are clean and quite modern . The bedrooms generally need updating as they are dark and showing signs of well worn . We saw lots of long silver backed spiders in the bedroom and bathroom and after leaving our case on the floor they were inside it . The beds were comfortable and general house keeping was good with clean towels each day . The pool was good but very cold . Once you were in and swimming it did get better. Our stay was for 7 nights but we had no contact with anyone during that time and no one asked us on leaving if all was ok . The hotel was very noisy with trucks coming in all through the night to deliver and take away trash . We were also woke up with noisy people returning in the early hours of the morning after long nights out. Not what you would expect from a hotel showing 4 stars . Smoking was also allowed around the pool and long term residents also reserved sun beds from early morning until closing . Not a great experience and probably wouldn’t return
