On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“Outstanding place to stay”

We visited the marina apartments end of May 21 to 3 June. First of all we were met by an arranged transfer from faro Airport which was much cheaper than Uber. When we arrived to the apartment yoh will either love or hate the funky building paint designs. I liked it. Pedro met us at the apartment to give us our key. He ran through a couple of things and left us to it. In the living room / dining area it is spacious. The verander overlooks the marina and it has a reasonable sized TV plus aewallg comfortable sofa bed.the air con is perfect. Next is the bedroom, a nice sizeable bed and the patio doors show the marina too. Ideal view if hungover. The patio doors have an electric shutter which blocks out all light and keeps the room cooler. However the air con is fabulous if required. There is ample wardrobe space. The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher which were used a lot. My only regret is bringing too many clothes not realising there would be a washing machine so I could have done with less clothes in my cases. The bathroom was nice with a bath and shower plus a b day. Location wise, ideal. I have been to albufeira before in 2004 for the euros and stayed nearer to the strip. This place is in the marina, nice boats to look at, peaceful now because bars shut at 10.30 but if you have windows and shutter closed with air con on you won't hear any of the singers in the bars. There are many restaurants below which are decent and some nice food. Plus a Spar which sells large san Miguel's on draught for €1.50. The amazing beaches are very close by too. All in all I cannot fault this place whatsoever. The host is on call all the time for any queries, the apartment outstanding and great location. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Marina apartments private lettings Pros Good sized property. Good kitchen with all you could need. Nice pool though towels on sunbeds first thing in the morning. We were lucky as we went just before summer holidays started but I can imagine at times there would not be enough sun beds and umbrellas for all residents to use. Air con. Balcony looking over the marina. Cons Pillows were terrible and lumpy but Rita came with new ones the same day. The sofa bed is not fit for purpose. Even with one person on it the noise the bed made meant very uncomfortable and disturbed sleep for a whole week. They tried to fix the problem but this only helped marginally. Do bear in mind if intending to use for adults. The walk into the old town in the heat is quite challenging. All uphill. The marina food is not great but ok for a quick fix. It's a bit sad and underutilised. The spar at the end of the marina is a great little shop but if you ha e a car worth a trip to the larger supermarkets not far from the property. Bedroom should have aircon as well not just the living room. Instructions for the washing machine in english would be helpful as well as symbols for the oven.

Booked with Algarve Vacations via Holiday Lettings. Excellent local company reps. Great location in the Marina, lots of nice restaurants close to hand and old town square is within easy walking distance. Only negatives would be balcony furniture needs to be replaced with something more comfortable to relax in, wooden slightly rickety chairs are ok for a morning coffee but you couldn’t sit in them for any length of time to enjoy the sunshine and relax reading a book, also pictures of the lounge furniture are very misleading, they show comfortable leather sofas when in fact the are wooden sofa beds, we had to use pillows from the bedrooms. We still enjoyed our stay here as we know the area very well
