Have just spent 7 nights at the Falesia Hotel. This is our first visit to Portugal & could not have picked a better hotel to make our week amazing. I booked this hotel on the reviews from Trip Advisor and that it was an adults only hotel. The reviews are spot on and there is absolutly nothing to fault about this hotel. Super friendly, helpful and smiling staff at all times. The weather was certainly variable with sun rain & wind but this did not spoil our stay. We had junior suite room 342 which overlooked some of the gardens and Pine Cliffs resort opposite, but It was a very quiet room no disruptions and kept spotlessy clean through the week. We used the spa faiclities of the jacuzzi & turkish bath and had a couples massage which i would highl recommend. Bar area nice and large and we had nice accoustic singers in the evening which we listened to for a while. Bar staff are fun and cocktails amazing. Green Coconut, pineapple cuban mule a couple of our favourites. Cheese toastie for snack also delicious. Restaurant ambiance is just lovely and we sat in the quieter part in the lower section as you go in. Food plentiful and myself being vegetarian there were excellent options for both breakfast and dinner. Fresh fruit was delicious. Plates cleared away but chatty friendly staff was lovely. For anyone who likes a walk, we walked to Villamoura a couple of times which was approx 11.5 miles (24k steps approx) return along road and track ( as the cliff walk was not recommended due to the weather ) and found a lovley cafe called Padaria Pastelaria outside of the Marina which served excellent tea coffee pastries cake etc and 2 drinks & 2 cakes only came to just over 8 euros. It would cost that just for the 2 drinks in the UK lol. We used the hotel shuttle bus service to Albufeira which was lovely. Found a little Italian Restaurant for lunch LA Barca where we shared a Pizza and had a beer and win for 14 euros. Highly recommend. It is a great service put on by the hotel to various places and very reasonable not having to worry about local bus service. We didnt use the outdoor pool or area as it wasnt the weather for it. We didnt use the indoor pool as it was a bit "cool" for us - but there were guests who did. You woill not be disppointed if you book this hotel. We will definitley be back - see you again next year.

We have just returned from a week at the Falesia Hotel. It is a lovely chilled hotel and the staff are wonderfully warm and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Food at the buffet was lovely - fresh and tasty with plenty of variety. It was a bit cold for us to try the outdoor pool but there seemed to be lots of sunbeds available round the pool. The indoor pool was really nice and there was also a Turkish bath and a jacuzzi. Beaches were in walking distance for us but there was a shuttle bus several times a day. Although in a fairly quiet area there was a good variety of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel

The Falesia Hotel is a gem: quiet and relaxing atmosphere, spacious rooms, pleasant build-quality and well-maintained. The gardens are delightful with pools, bridges, flower beds and lawned/ patio areas. We found the staff very helpful, polite, and knowledgable. The beds were comfortable, the standards of room cleaning very high. The towel art by the chamber maids is quite amazing. The restaurant is very pleasant with an airy upper area, where there are nice views out to water gardens, and a quiet lower area which we liked in the evenings as it felt a bit cosier. The food is varied, well-cooked and serving lots of vegetables. My husband who likes fish found this to be fresh and well-prepared. The meat dishes were also very nicely cooked. The only thing I would fault is the quality of the cheese and the breads. They were very ordinary when compared to the choices of food elsewhere in the restaurant, and it would be great if the hotel might consider artisanal breads, and some local cheeses perhaps? Also I didn't like the entertainment, which tended towards loud and rocky, eg. with an evening of Bruce Springsteen covers, which not many people seemed to like. Abba covers, etc etc. What about some flamenco, a bit of classical, some latino, some folk? I think the hotel could consider some quieter stuff alongside their other music offers, as most of the guests are on the older side. There is a steam room and indoor pool and also spa. We tried the steam room but it was too hot. In fact we asked the hotel if they could turn it down which they did, as it was too hot to stand up in without feeling very uncomfortable when breathing in. Once running at a lower temperature it was enjoyable to use. the local beach is absolutely gorgeous, and the hotel runs a bus to get you there and back. Kilometres of sand, beautiful cliffs. I would recommend the Falesia and we have booked immediately to go back next year! Can't wait!!!

How long will my review stay on the website?
Once it has been published, your review will automatically appear in the summary of reviews and if it is considered a featured review (based on publication date, length and quality of content), the complete review will also appear. Said review will not appear or will disappear from the system if it contains offensive language or if it is reported.
