5th stay at this Hotel, so a positive in it's own right, personally I feel the already high standards have gone up a level, Staff friendly and accommodating as always, cleanliness very good food and drinks very good Location right by the beach is excellent, with only shirt walk to bars, restaurants and supermarkets etc. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, however, a little dated, however, made up for by excellent views from the balcony. When in the Algarve this will remain as my "go to hotel"

“Excellent Winter Break”

My husband and I stayed here with a friend for 1 week all inclusive Nov/Dec and couldn't have made a better choice of hotel. We had requested 2 rooms as near to each other as possible and were given adjoining rooms so a big thank you for arranging that. It was very much appreciated. Our rooms, although very dated, were more than adequate with very comfy beds, a decent shower and good towels which were changed as often as we requested. The sea view from the balcony was a nice bonus. The food and drinks far exceeded our expectations with a great selection at every meal. Tilak, our waiter in the restaurant, was very friendly and helpful and always had a smile on his face. The snack bar was also really good and we used this quite a few lunch times rather than the main restaurant. We have never had such a good AI snack bar and the wide choice of food offered was very impressive. The only negative I could give is that there are a lot of stairs at the hotel. However, there is a ramp in the gounds and a lift in the accomodation blocks so, if necessary, you can get around the site if you are less mobile. We are all over 70 and didn't find it too much of a problem. The courtesy bus into the old town was a bonus. We walked along the beach on our first day but the wooden boards had been removed for Winter and it was a long hard walk on the soft sand! In summing up, I would say that you certainly get value for money at the Auramar. The staff, accomodation, facilities, food and drinks are excellent. If we return to Albufeira this would be our number 1 choice of hotel. Thank you all at the Auramar Beach Resort for our wonderful holiday. .
