We arrived 4 hours early for check in expecting to leave our bags until the room was ready, we were accommodated and only had to wait an hour which we did so by the pool with a drink. We arrived 4 hours early for check in expecting to leave our bags until the room was ready, we were accommodated and only had to wait an hour which we did so by the pool with a drink. We were also kindly upgraded from a studio to a spacious one bedroom apartment. The apartment had air con in the bedroom but could have coped without. Hair dryers can be rented for the week for deposit of €10. Pool is beautiful and clean with pool bar where can get food such as toasted sandwiches/pizza. Supermarket directly across road from apartments- pricey on some items. Lovely cheap coffee shop also in the supermarket, staff not very friendly! Strip around 15 min walk away or an Uber is around €4-€5 Uber also to old town for €7-€9 Beautiful beach 7 min walk from hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return!

“Only go self catering”

On arrival we were put in 45c a room that was very dated no balcony and no view to lookout of the window on. We requested another room straight away and the receptionist changed us immediately to 104 which was so much better a large family apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms a massive kitchen… more

On arrival we were put in 45c a room that was very dated no balcony and no view to lookout of the window on. We requested another room straight away and the receptionist changed us immediately to 104 which was so much better a large family apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms a massive kitchen seating area so comfortable. We tried the food in the restaurant on our 1st night and wasnt appetising and cold the next day we gave it another go for breakfast and this was subsequently cold too my partner had hers reheated in a microwave by the restaurant manager and a little while later made her very sick. We decided to complain to the hotel manager as we wanted to change our board base from half board to self catering which we did successfully as we could no longer eat at the restaurant. The pool was very clean and quiet as we seemed to be the only couple using it.the pool was shut for 90mins during the day for cleansing. The beach was a 10mins walk away and really lovely. The old town albufeira was a taxi ride away which is around 8 euros you can walk to the strip where all the nightclubs are.There are some nice restaurants and cafes to eat at too competitive prices. The old town albufeira comes to life at night worth a visit. There is no entertainment at the hotel. The hotel staff were excellent the cleaners kept our room lovely cannot fault them making our stay as comfortable as possible. Self catering is recommended if you stay here it is an apartment hotel.

Upon arrival we were allocated Room 40a,which was a small studio, with only one window and no balcony. It overlooked the Reception and Car Park. We asked to change rooms and were allocated Room 101 which was a One Bedroom Apartment. This we found adequate for our stay. In general the Pool Area was kept very tidy, and was constantly being cleaned by the staff. We found the staff very friendly and efficient. However, we were booked on All Inclusive and found the food very unappertising and cold. There was only a limited choice of dishes for each meal. None of the advertised snacks were offered and no ice creams made available, We felt that we did not get value for money compared to previous All Inclusive Hotels elsewhere. Because of the repetitive food we ate out on 2 occasions. Perhaps self catering or a Bed and Breakfast arrangement would be better.
