We really enjoyed our holiday and this lovely big hotel. When we arrived it wasn’t at full capacity which was lovely for us though by the time we left it was full due to half term holidays. Hotel was well decorated for Halloween and entertainers worked hard. Everything felt very clean and safe. All staff in the hotel were lovely and the food was excellent. I’ve never eaten my lunch in a snack bar before but I did twice when I was here. Lots of choice for adults and children alike. Everything was delicious and scrupulously clean. The resort itself is small but has several shops and restaurants. Close to both Albufeira and Vilamoura. Download the uber app and use their taxis rather than the bus. About €9 - €11 in the day time. Also much cheaper to airport than the taxis outside the airport. There were two Jet2 reps in the hotel most days and they were excellent and gave us recommendations of a few place to go to. All in all an excellent holiday but Faro airport on the way home was a nightmare with the amount of people trying to get through passport control. Swarms of people being pushed and jostled in a massive room with only one way to go and no movement. Very off putting. Would definitely come back to this hotel again.

**HONEST & RECENT** Went end of October for 9 nights. Far quieter than high season but exceptional standards non the less. *STAFF - literally cannot do enough for you. In all areas. Entertainment spot on. Daytime and nighttime it is inclusive and varied. Kids LOVED it. And the staff loved the kids. Cleaners worked their back sides off. Rooms, restaurant, general areas. All day every day. Reception staff were amazing and so helpful. *FOOD - coming from someone who likes a wide range of cuisines, you will NOT be disappointed. Ignore any reviews that say the food is boring and not extensive enough. It’s a lie. There is so much fresh and cooked food to choose from. The med and oriental restaurants are nice as a change too. Breakfast is great. And the snack bar is always open for a tummy top up should you wish! *DRINKS - branded spirits, beer and cider. Cocktails were very sweet but there was a wide range. Iced coffee with baileys was definitely a winner with us! The ONLY let down was the coffee machines. Not great and very weak. We took our own kettle and coffee for the mornings. *POOL - plenty of choice of pools and depths. Tiki Splash park is amazing for the kids. Safe and so much fun. Beware though - the water is cold! Cold cold. BUT this didn’t stop anyone from swimming! Given it was right at the end of the season it was still busy! Don’t worry about Sun loungers. There are LOADS! *ROOMS - big enough and nice balcony area. We paid a bit more for a pool view and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely worth the upgrade for the view and the sun on the balcony in the morning. Fridge DOES work if you find the right setting. There ARE plenty of plug points. Loads of clothes space and hanging space. Air con was weak but we didn’t need it. Might be a different story in peak season. Bathroom great. Big enough and plenty of towels. And a ‘butt washer’ as my daughter called it! Very novel ;) *OVERALL - would stay again in a heart beat. Really enjoyed all aspects of the holiday. Went into Albufeira and Vilamoura both via Uber for around £8 each way. Sports bar showed all footy and F1 and rugby. You won’t be disappointed in any way. I assure you :)

Hotel was well clean and maintained . You could see the cleaners all day cleaning around the hotel . Food was good . As I couldn’t eat any meat ( I can only eat halal ) there was not much variety for me . So I only ate the salads which was a good variety . Since it was October didn’t use the outside pools because was too cold . I didn’t find where the gym was so cannot review that . Workers at the hotel were all polite . Many don’t know English but were still polite . One thing I didn’t like was that there was nothing to do or go to nearby . Only the beach which took about 10 minutes walking. To get too. There were only a couple of shops across the road . They were places to eat . ( halal shop across the road ) The bus stop was across the road around the corner . We caught 6 to albuferua and 9 to Vilamoura and faro . For Lagos we took number from outside the hotel to Albuferua bus station then from there number 51 to Lagos . The bus drivers only take cash no card . The hotels entertainment was really for children , I felt it was not for adults . There was no cinema room which was ashame. It was rising one day so there was nothing fir us to do at all except to sit in our room or in the lounge area . We couldn’t go out either it was 1 st November a holiday for the Poeple in Portugal . So not many buses working to go out .

Rooms basic but adequate large bathroom with bath and shower combined. Main bar to be desired a mini theatre . With queues to be served at the bar. No waiter service.Two a la carte restaurants closed only the buffet restaurant. Breakfast adequate lunch and dinner very poor standard of food . Constantly Cold . Nice touch where you could serve yourself beer and wine through taps . Pool area nice sunbeds plentiful. Would I stay here again probably not unless they addressed those issues
