Brilliant hotel, couldn’t really fault anything. Clean, staff friendly and helpful, food choices, quality and quantity were excellent, always sunbeds available at pool and beach. Drink choices really good. Massages at Spa were amazing. Really enjoyed our stay here

“Room for Improvement”

We arrived and the room we were allocated was a nightmare, the A/C didn’t work, tried the ceiling fan to cool the room, but that made a loud noise, the sink wouldn’t drain, and two of the lights in the room didn’t work, ended up going to reception to complain but couldn’t do anything until the next… more

We arrived and the room we were allocated was a nightmare, the A/C didn’t work, tried the ceiling fan to cool the room, but that made a loud noise, the sink wouldn’t drain, and two of the lights in the room didn’t work, ended up going to reception to complain but couldn’t do anything until the next day. The next day after contacting the manager after reception didn’t really have any solution, we were moved to a different room. The shower drain didn’t drain very well in this room but was an improvement from the previous room, the hotel needs to carry out a maintenance program to prevent these type of issues causing negativity on arrival. The hotel communal areas are excellent with great decor and comfort. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. The staff in the restaurants could do with a little more motivation. The pool areas were very good and always had sun beds available, the pools were clean, the towel exchange was good. The pool swim up bar was good and always had friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is in great location on the beach. The promenade runs directly behind the hotel. The restaurant food wasn’t the best we have had, breakfast was fine, there was a snack bar which was popular but the main restaurants weren’t the best. The evening entertainment was excellent, local dance and folklore, excellent entertainers / singers each night, Moroccan music night, a great atmosphere. On the whole the hotel was good but could be excellent with small improvements starting with room maintenance.

Left an earlier review critiquing the hotel as we’d been placed in a room above a nightclub. We complained and asked to be moved to another room. The manager and his staff reacted with genuine regret and arranged for us to be moved to another room as soon as possible. In short we are very appreciative of the service received so far, absolutely top notch from the cleaners, waiters, everyone. Hotel is a little tired looking but it has a certain charm, pool area is very good and so along with the first class service we’ve received so far we’ve been more than happy with the choice we made coming here.
