We booked a 1 week stay over New Year Eve with our 2 kids aged 3 and 6. We have loved every minute of the holiday so far. We just registered for the rewards program so we can rebook it again for next New Year and will wait for any promotional offers. The staff were incredible nicest people ever. Our flight was heavily delayed and we arrived late in the evening tired and hungry. The second we stepped into the hotel we were greeted with Moroccan tea and sent off to enjoy dinner while the staff look after our luggage and manage our check in. Our request for a quiet ground floor room was met. It was an extra bonus being close to the playground and the beach. The room is big, has everything you need. Nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Some room tips for improvement: - The door is a bit noisy and could do with some oiling to reduce the noise. - Also there is no tea or coffee in the room which is a pain, I had to go to the restaurant every morning just for coffee and then second time later for breakfast with the family. - The aircon only blows hot air too, it was cold outside but still quite hot in the room. We were a little hot at night. One night we left the sliding doors open and a cat came in at 2am waking us up. - The cleaners were only giving us 3 towels daily no matter how many times we told them we are 4 people. The deep pool is heated and is really warm, the warmest I’ve ever experienced. It was cold outside but you could run and jump in the warm water and enjoy a swim. Also never crowded and quite large. Sadly the unheated pool was freezing at this time of the year and aqua aerobics was not happening (not because of the staff but because no one was brave enough to go in the freezing pool). We enjoyed visiting the beach, going for walks, building sand castles. The food was lovely. Plenty of options and the Moroccan section was incredible - amazing curries. We loved the deserts options, some of the best we have had. My husband is dairy intolerant and usually ends up with boring plain fruit. However daily the restaurant had banana, apple, plum and pear flambé, Moroccan sweets, etc. The NEY dinner was amazing - oysters, lobster, shellfish. Lovely cocktail and champagne reception with belly dancers. The party was great, had a lot of fun. We even received a gift set. Only surprise was that there were no fireworks. Not one in the sky to be seen at midnight. The entertainment team were great throughout. From kids club all the way to the evening shows. One recommendation however is Mini disco - 5pm by the pool had 3-5 kids, one day even only 2 turned up. It is too early, the kids are wet in the pool and it is freezing cold to go in wet swimsuit to dance. Also it was only 10min long. It will be so much better to have these 10min of mini disco as the kids evening program starts at 8.30pm in the indoor area so the kids can be dressed up and warm. No harm repeating it twice as I understand this is done for the younger kids but not once I saw a baby or very young child joining the 5pm mini disco.

Just returned home from a fantastic holiday in Morocco staying at Iberostar waves on arrival we was greeted by staff and given mint tea and once registered and pay local room tax £40 for the week shown to our room 3155 very comfy beds all nice and clean bathroom the same fridge for drinks plenty of free water available along corridor from machine jug and glasses in room provided special thanks to all staff especially Yassine (Manager) who made our stay perfect Hammet our waiter in the dining room he was attentive to our needs keeping us topped up with refreshments of any sort with all our meals mention to Ben the cheeky one from the animation team A very special thanks to the dining room team for a superb banquet on Xmas Eve a full 4 course meal with champagne (which we don't normally drink) but found it very Tasty in the grounds 3 pools,concert room couple of small shops and shop at the front of hotel back in the grounds a great poolside bar serving hot food at various times and drinks all day just pass the bar is the back gate to beach which was great We met Jawad who sold us a fantastic trip up a mountain. Overlooking harbour crocodile park with over 400 crocs a big souk(indoor market)all for £30 we travelled with friends and we had mini bus to ourselves our friends 7yr old went free on the tour which lasted a few hours .Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff hope to return next October for my birthday must mention the entertainments team who work hard at night putting on various shows All in All A Great Hotel and thank you for making our holiday enjoyable. However I have never got a good night's sleep, there's noise from early in the morning - cleaning round the pool, a trolley full of glasses being pushed down the corridor, and other guests The shower floods the bathroom The food is good and varied but sometimes only warm.
