“Nice, but no four start”

We stayed here over the Xmas/newyear's holidays. We stayed here over the Xmas/newyear's holidays. We have travelled in this region at the time of year before, staying in different star hotels .this in mind, the hotel was not a 4 to us The outside of the building was nice . The door and reception staff were quick and helpful . Rooms were very nice at first look No hotel room guide in the room.Everything else seemed to be there. The towels provided were very hard, tired, and grey but clean. The shower leaked The room maid came round frequently for a basic clean. Nice lady's. We had one bed sheet change over the 14 nights stay, which we had to ask for The room was quiet, and we did not hear all the noise we had read about a good bed and night's sleep. The restaurant was not good for us as we had booked half board. Mayhem comes to mind, no organise flow, of guests. People were going in all directions, and food was running out too many times. Even seating was not enough it was like they booked 10 people, but catering for 8, no basic water on the tables unless you paid. They organise that one correctly gave up after the 4 visit and ate out most of the stay occasionally coming down for a morning coffee and omelette.People were using the pool bar area as there was not enough seating. It's cold outside at that time A couple of days before New years Eve was the first time we were informed we would have to pay more for a meal that had already booked with no alternative to the meal that had been paid for.other guests informed me they had not been aware of this when booking the hotel too. The Newyears meal went on all night with the last course served to our table at 23.47hrs .a small band and a bit of dancing was provided but as you went to dance you would miss a course of the meal menu. The new year was seen in and ended with a fire .show in bed by 1. The pool bar was a pleasant area, but keep track of your bill as a few times the bill would be wrong in the bars favour. The even entertainment was hosted here too.basic animation team and audience participation we also had some outside acts of snake. magic and a dancer, the hotel was OK for a visit, but we will not be back. All staff were really nice, but things were going on, but it all seemed unmanaged

Hotel is well located in reach of city center and restaurants. We used to walk to the suk market daily. People are very friendly too. Cons- Breakfast is a nightmare to try and get a table. It's like you are scamming for a table as soon as someone jumps of you grab it. No first come first serve and no one to sit anyone down. Then the cups, glasses and plates get finished and you basically have to hold yours so that it's not taken off you. They grab these off you as soon as you put it on the table. We ended up buying our own cups. I would expect a hotel to have utensils like these stacked up. Toilet tissue is the cheapest I've ever seen. Me and my two boys we used to go through 3 rolls each day. And that is us going out a lot. Asking for more is a problem. We ended up buying our own. And luckily we took a towel. You have to pay to use the gym. The cheapest thing they could offer there guests for free. Wi-Fi is terrible. Lucky we eat at the next hotel which looked fabulous and we used there wifi even whilst inside our hotel and it was good. I wouldn't visit this hotel again
