This hotel is cheap and chearful. I was very worried after reading the reviews. When arriving our room was not ready (yet to be cleaned) so was given a different room. This door was unable to lock. Rather than us waiting for maintenance to repair it. We were upgraded to a sea view room with no hesitation. The reviews about the English being ignored. Is just not true. Hotel manager listened to be when I raised issues with food and my diabetes. As we were full board. He introduced me to mohammed who is the manager at the restaurant. Who then became my personal go to guy for food requests often ensuring I had what I wanted to eat even if not on the menu or buffet for breakfast time. He made it his mission to help anyway he could. There is plenty of food at breakfast. Burgers and pizzas for kids that can't eat morrocan food. And traditional Moroccan cuisine for those that want the authentic touch. We had a fridge in our room and had no problem bringing drinks and snacks into the hotel. The only thing they ask is food is not left open in rooms to avoid vermin. Which is totally acceptable. The hotel room we had was tidied daily. Bed made. Loo paper restocked and towels changed. I had issues with the heat. Everywhere I went they allowed me blast the aircon. The pool was clean. The staff friendly if spoken to slow enough. People forget English is not their first, second or even third language in Morocco. So be patient. They love us and want to help. They are just different in how they do things. Different should be expected. If English ways are what people need. Blackpool and Brighton have a beach. This hotel is very cheap for the area. This hotel lives upto and exceeds expectations for the price. It's aging a bit. But nothing major. Our room was clean. Tidy. Great view. And most of all comfortable.

After some initial issues, which were resolved promptly with the allocated room, I would recommend hotel Hamilton. We stayed as a couple who are experiencing morocco for the first time on a two week trip, travelling around morocco, initially landing in marrakech first, then on to a 3 day trip to sahara desert, which started in marrakech and ended in fes. We arrived here in agadir after travelling on a stop over in casablanca. We stayed in a 4 star in marrakech, a riad in fes, an airbnb in casablanca, and finally, the hotel Hamilton Agadir, which was chosen as a relaxing final stop after all the travelling and chaos of visiting the various cities in morroco. We were impressed with the level of service from the staff and especially Mohanned the restaurant manager, who ensured that everything we requested was catered for and alway greeted us upon arrival and departure with a smile. The food provided was excellent, and the chef even greeted us and offered to cook anything that would suit my partners dietary requirements. The allocated hotel room was very spacious with a two person shower, and in comparison to everywhere else we stayed at in morroco, the room had the biggest bathroom. I would definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Hamilton Agadir to anyone visiting agadir.
