“Trip of a lifetime 🇲🇦”

We visited the hotel at the beginning of October and stayed for two weeks on our honeymoon/familymoon as a family of four, with two toddlers the hotel was in an ideal location for us being right next to the beach which the kids loved and it was a very family oriented hotel with a brilliant kids club and mini disco every night where they had so much fun, my children particularly liked emy and uma. The room was lovely, comfortable and spacious all the food was delicious and we really enjoyed trying all different things the waiters were so understanding of the fact young children can be so messy a few of them stood out to me in particular such as Zachariah who helped me rush my son the toilet during a mealtime preventing him from peeing his pants lol, a new young guy called hamza was very sweet and friendly too. My children really enjoyed going to the games room everyday and the guy who worked in there (sorry I can’t remember your name) was so sweet with my son showing him how to do the different games. Only a couple of small things I would change which are having an iron in the room would’ve been good and also the water pressure in the shower was very low but they did send a repair guy out promptly. I could write a whole essay on how good it all was but just to sum it all up it really was the trip of a lifetime we couldn’t be happier we picked this hotel I now have a bad case of the holiday blues because I miss it so much all we can say is if you go there you definitely won’t regret it as it’s five stars from the louarradi family!

“Let down by front desk staff”

I’ve stayed at the amadil beach numerous times, usually just for a couple of nights before visiting family. We like the location and always upgrade to a sea view but having experienced what the breakfast used to be like would never consider AI and stayed b&b. I was pleasantly surprised on this trip to notice vast improvements since the hotel changed hands and would now consider AI in the future. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, staff kept the tables clean and whilst it was busy you could always find a table. The rooms are bright, airy and clean and the beds are very comfortable with nice plump duvets and pillows. Bathroom clean with a large walk in shower and everything worked perfectly. Whilst visible improvements could be seen unfortunately the attitudes of front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. You are greeted with a friendly smile but that’s where it ends. We checked in late at night and was given a room far away from reception in a corner and we asked for something closer due to my mobility issues. They asked us to return to reception as there was another room available but when we walked all the way back to reception we were told he couldn’t allocate it to us and there was nothing else. Very frustrating and a waste of time so we had to walk all the way back to the allocated room. This was a real struggle for me so we asked again in the morning and surprisingly there were other rooms available but they allocated a room on the other side of the building the same distance away!! I felt like they were simply not listening. There was no empathy and I don’t feel they even cared. We walked past a room with an open door which was vacant and it would have been perfect but was told it was “allocated”. The porter moving our cases could see I was struggling and he very kindly said he’d sort it, and he did. He got us a room very close to the lift and it was perfect. Very very disappointed with the attitudes of front desk staff and first class service from the porter - he should be promoted to front desk manager! whilst we had the inconvenience of wasting part of our precious holiday time moving rooms, it was to a decent room, not far from the lift. When asked why we couldn’t have moved to the better room the day before they just fobbed us off with excuses. After a stressful start I would still recommend this hotel because the issues were simply down to my mobility issues. I will stay again but next time I will email the hotel to see if I can be allocated a specific room, even though I have no confidence it would make any difference.
