“location, location, location !!!”
again the the review I read ws very accurate. no remodel since the 1970s, could have been cleaner. This hotel is very big, lots of rooms, but not many seem to be in use. The room you want to book is one of the lower balconies' that faces the zocalo. the reason is the amazing music performed nightly… more

“Hotel with the best location, and a touch of history”
We always stay at the Colonial when we want a night or two in Veracruz because it is directly on the Zocalo where there are a choice of restaurants and bars. The old place is clean and cared for, not new. Never had a bad stay here in 7 years. Park onsite. Walk to the warf, several very good… more

The hotel located right on the main city plaza in the older part of town. There is parking available in the building next door. The hotel is a little old which made it interesting. They accommodated us quickly and reasonably without any hassle even though we arrived late without a reservation.… more
