“True Mexican comfort.”
Lovely Colonial style hotel in a great location. I had a clean, spacious, quiet room. The staff were extremely helpful and found a guide to take me to Calakmul after the tour I had booked cancelled at the last minute. There is also a cute little swimming pool.

“Castelar, Hotel close to everything in Comanche”
The location of this hotel is perfect, it’s close to everything you need to see in Campeche. The ambiance of the hotel is very Mexican and quaint. Centrally located, pleasant in a traditional way. The furnishings are fairly simple, and the rooms, while comfortable, would benefit from some updating. “Tour hotel apparently, late music in the square outside of our room...yikes”
Although it's not the responsibility of the hotel for outside music, they must know that the sound comes right through the walls since they are located at the corner of the public plaza. “needs updating until we revisit..”
have been a client client to this hotel for the last 12 years. Just spent 2 night , 3 room last week end. Was nice 12 years ago but the lack of serious maintenance and lack of updating have seriously hurt the quality of acomodations , specially bathrooms !
