Sitting by the pool today enjoying the sun and having great service poolside by Leydi at Grand Sirenis resort. Try their mango margaritas on the rocks with salted rim. Such a relaxing day but also exciting with entertainment crews making games fun. We love this place.

“Superb Bike Ride Experience”

He was really informative very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Lovely person beautiful tour would definitely recommend. IMPORTANT Don't forget trainers and water and arrive 15 minutes as it's first come 1st serve for the bikes.

“10 days from Canada”

We went as a couple for 10 days. We have travelled and stayed all over Mexico and the Mayan for 25 years each year trying different resorts. The food was generally good at the buffets with so many options to choose from. The à la carte restaurants that we tried were fantastic! We were able to do Italian, Asian, Tepanyaki, and Butcher. The rest of the reservations were at 915 or later so we ended up at the buffet as way too late to eat for us. Reservations are difficult to get which I found very strange. Never had that at a resort before when you arrive and can’t book decent times to eat. When we walked by the restaurants, there was maybe five or six tables at a time, not busy at all so not sure what that’s all about. Great service at all the à la cartes except for the Asian. The waiter was not kind at all. Service was generally good everywhere else. Great service at the beach bars, horrible service at the lobby bar, other than that everybody was very kind . Our favorite thing to do was the lazy river. We used it several times. The pools are lovely as well, but why would you not have nice tropical music around the pools? It was either loud pounding music or nothing. We saw lots of garbage, lots of cigarette butts, lots of thrown cups, broken glass, garbage bags, that were there and not picked up the entire time. The rooms were in need of major renovation. Our room had lots of mould in it especially in the bathroom and the days we were there, there was quite a bit of rain that leaked into our room all over the floor. There was paint splotches all over the furniture, stains all over the bed and headboard and broken furniture in our room. The room was in rough shape. We did not complain or change rooms but these need to be addressed. Lots of construction every day starts early, ends late, This did not affect our visit. We will not be returning to this resort for the price we paid. This is a 3.5 star for sure but could be a 5 with some improvements. If they did some more improvements, we would definitely consider as we loved the lazy river and the beautiful scenery at the ocean.
