“Wonderful resort in great setting”
What a wonderful resort. My husband & I spend a week here in February. Sonia always had a welcoming smile at breakfast & smiled at my attempt to give her room # in Spanish! “The reef!”
Alberto y Antonio are fantastic! They always make for a great time! We’ve been coming for 3 years now and the staff here always take care of us. “Enjoyable stay”
We’ve stayed at the Reef Playacar 3 times now and we’ve enjoyed it every time. We love the jungle atmosphere, the cenotes and the beautiful ocean views. We’ve stayed at the Reef Playacar 3 times now and we’ve enjoyed it every time. We love the jungle atmosphere, the cenotes and the beautiful ocean views. We stayed in a junior suite, they are great rooms with a decent amount of space. We always enjoy all the staff, they are very friendly. We have to give a special shout-out to Diana, Mich and all the ladies who look after the kids activities. They make sure to round up the kids for each of the activities they put on and they remembered our daughter’s name quickly which made her feel special. Our only small complaint would be the food. The buffet could use a few more options and with only 2 a la carte restaurants, we got to try a lot in the week and could have used a bit more variety.

Tadeo, David and Santos made my stay at the hotel 100x better! The most excited about their job always happy to please you, felt like a queen ! I really enjoyed the stretching class with Tadeo, David made sure i was confortable at any moment or occasions and Santos made sure i was never thirsty and made the best drinkkksss. The room was okay, the bed wasn’t so confortable but the pillows were fine. I think that the mini fridge should be filled up with drinks and snacks it was the first time for me that i saw a hotel not filling these and not being included in the all inclusive price. The balcony was really cute but we were next to camp fire thing and could rarely let the door open and sit on the balcony because of the debris and all the smoke. No room service,broke my heart, i think it’s so important to have this as a feature of the hotel,in my opinion obviously. The food over all is really good ! My favourite thing was the coconut icecream from the ice-cream shop and i feel like they should open it around 2-3 pm instead of 4 cause some days i would wait just for it to open and many people to! The beach and the sea , not the most pretty neither clean i saw but! I liked that they were many sections made it more private for some parts and less noisy i also liked the pools on different levels great idea also the palm trees are beautiful they take good care of them.
