“A Special Start, Thanks to Luis”
From the very beginning, this getaway has felt truly special. Luis Martinez at the lobby gave us the warmest welcome and truly set the tone for a fantastic vacation. We’re so excited for what’s ahead, and Luis made sure we know all about the amazing amenities and experiences the resort has to offer.

“Great resort”
Andres at the concierge at the parriso beach is the best , very helpful . The resort is clean great service wonderful food . Weather is wonderful during first two weeks of March . Highly recommend Japanese restaurant Estevan the chef great ..

I stay there whit my family, great hotel awesome service by Jimmy the concierge was very helpful whit the reservationts in the restaurants all the staff it was very friendly and the room well located in the property clean and tidy always good quality in the restaurants.

“Pros/Cons”
We've stayed at a lot of Mexico resorts over the last 15 years. We would not choose this one again based on our experience. Cons: For us, it was too big. We've stayed at a lot of Mexico resorts over the last 15 years. We would not choose this one again based on our experience. Cons: For us, it was too big. The resort is very spread out and has multiple resorts onsite - Lindo/Maya. We tried to get rides on the golf carts that drive around. -Not much for lunch near our pool. We were near the beach and the only thing we ate was burger/hot dogs/fries from the beach hut. It got old after multiple days. We like multiple options close to the pool. We stayed at Royalton last spring and they had a pizza bar every day and a pool hut with multiple types of food. It was all pick up and go, which is what we like. -Rooms felt very wet and moist. I washed all our clothes whether we wore them or not because they all had a mildew smell. -Only1 outlet with 1 plug-in in the bathroom - so I couldn't have two of us getting ready with a blow dryer and curling iron. -Reservations for the restaurants were hard to get. We only had reservations for 2 of our 5 night stay. Both were met with communication issues - with one reservation they gave us a verbal time and wrote it down on a piece of paper. Then the Iberostar app showed us a different time. We called the consierge office where it was set up, and they stated to go to the earlier time listed on the app. We got there and was told that was incorrect and made us wait. The second reservation was made through the app on a chat forum with conscierge. We were discussing a certain evening and they set up our reservation for another evening without mentioning it. So we showed up and they didn't have our reservation as it took place days earlier. - The app is helpful in some ways and confusing in others. - The last thing I will mention for cons was the activities. People praise the kid camp - you bring your kids for certain hours a day and the parents can enjoy time without them while the kids have fun. The camp was up to age 12. We had 3 kids - 18, 16, and 13. Our kids would not have wanted to do the camp anyway but were ultra bummed because a majority of the activities were only for adults - if you look at the activities on the app most say "adult only". When we stayed at the Royalton our kids were able to do all the activities and they had a blast playing water volleyball, beach volleyball, beach soccer, foam party, etc. The foam party at this resort was supposed to be for adults but we let our 13 year old go with us and we stayed on the edges. So our 13 and 16 year old felt like they didn't have much to do. Pros: Overall we were fine with our stay, but given we've stayed at a lot of different places at different price points, this was not our favorite. We enjoyed getting cabana beds so we didn't have to fight for chairs. They were easy to get and were inexpensive for a day. The beach was nice and we enjoyed our time there with the soft sand and fun waves.
