We really enjoyed our time at time at the resort and all the things it has to offer. The animals on site where a nice surprise and we loved seeing them on our morning walks. We wann give thanks to Alberto at the Mar lobby for helping us with general information and helping us make sure we get access to all the restaurants. Overall we had a great time and will likely return in the future.

“Nice Stay”
Loved the resort, we will be back and a thanks to alex from concierge for all his wonderful help. We espically enjoyed the Japanese cousine and the amazing beach. Would recommend you take care of the reservations of the restaurants after your check in to facilitate acces to the dinner options.

“Iberostar Jay”
Really enjoyed my stay, love coming to this resort.. the staff are always so friendly, Jay in the del mar lobby really goes above and beyond! He helped out a group of 19 out big time! & the entertainment team is also very great! They really know how to get a crown going!

“I would look elsewhere”
The hotel grounds and pool area are beautiful. My husband and I travelled with two other couples. I recommended the Iberostar as we loved them, and have stayed in a number of them in the past. The hotel grounds and pool area are beautiful. My husband and I travelled with two other couples. I recommended the Iberostar as we loved them, and have stayed in a number of them in the past. This one was a disappointment. The staff was more concerned with trying to get you to a vacation/timeshare meeting than looking after the regular customer. I am telling you this, as you are losing business! Could not get into the al La Carte restaurants as they were reserved for the timeshare people, however after complaining to management we did get into the Japanese restaurant twice and the Italian restaurant one time. No service at the regular pool, with the exception of one girl walking around twice …after you already got your own drink at the bar. The food was very good, no complaints there. The rooms were tired and need serious upgrades. Our king sized bed mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor (room 2009). The furniture- couch and chair were very dated and uncomfortable. Bathroom taps rusty….the whole bathroom needs a renovation. The Iberostar to me in the past, always meant excellent accommodation, service and food …not this location …wouldn’t go back.
