For context, my wife and are hotel members, and have been to 6 Iberostar hotels. This property has 5 hotels total, 1 is adults only. For the non-adults only hotels, this is the nicest one. The pool is huge and has many different areas. There are lost of different room options from close to the pool, closer to the beach, etc. That offers many prices options depending on what you are looking for. We are hotel members so have come to this location before, and once again the hotel was amazing. We appreciate how much effort is put into kids, and we look forward to using Star Camp once our 17 month old turns 4. There are many restaurants, I believe 7 or 8, but we mainly used the buffet because of our smaller child. There are also many food options outside the main meals, such as the bar/food area at the beach. That is great. There are water slides, which are super cool. A lazy river which is great, we brought our own floaty things for that river, but they have many there for everyone to use. There is a cenote on the property, which is amazing. Once again as with all Iberostar properties, they are conscious of the environment and do what they can to have zero plastics, refillable glass water bottles given to each room with water stations around the hotel (WHY do hotels in America not do this?), and have animals on the property. The animals are cared for very well. One small caveat that cannot be avoided - there was some construction, which is reasonable as they get ready for the peak season. Our first room was very close to that construction, yet Darlene with star prestige fixed that pretty quickly, moved us rooms, and comped two nights for the inconvenience. Special shout-outs: MINERVA - house keeping. She also had our room when we went April 2023, and once again was great. ANGEL - breakfast buffet. Probably the nicest employee we met all 8 days. RAUL - pool par near the wave pool. He remembered us from April and that my wife nurses thus cannot drink. He is great. JHONY - probably the best bar tender at the hotel, hence why he runs the extremely busy and borderline chaotic (because of the guests, not the employees) pool bar, Las Rocas. My wife and I love this guy. PABLO - La Puente bar. Always friendly and made great drinks. CLAUDIA - Spa, she gave a great massage. Very skilled. DARLENE - Star Prestige, knowledgeable and helpful. Overall Iberostar is great and we cannot wait to visit again.
