This was our third time in Mexico and the first time in this area. Will definitely be booking a RIU again. Absolutely fantastic hotel, staff were fantastic and 99% spoke very good English so no need for broken Spanish sentences from us. Yes, rooms were a little dated but if you're in Mexico at this resort, you should only be in the rooms for sleep. They were cleaned everyday and the drinks/fridge was restocked every other day. Juan at the ibiza bar was very attentive and a genuinely a very nice person who took interest in every one and where they were from. Drink and food was excellent. Riu yucatans system for ala carte meals were the best, no need for booking. If they were full, you received a pager when a table was free whi Ch meant you could wait in a local bar. The neon and white party's were great, everyone was involved and in the spirit. Big shout out to the restaurant staff who came and lined out at 1830 every night and made you feel special. Well done and thank you RIU Yucatan we will definitely be back, beautiful place with beautiful people.

“Great Hotel”

Great hotel. Fabulous food and excellent staff. Had a lovely time despite awful weather. Entertainment team worked hard to ensure everyone could get involved if they wanted to. Everyone cheerful and smiling. Love Rui Hotels...thank you!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at RIU Yucatán in Mexico. The beach and pool areas were exceptional, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our visit. While the rooms were simpler and not as fresh as those in other RIU properties we’ve experienced, the overall ambiance of the hotel and its surroundings made for a memorable vacation. Although the sports and fitness offerings were somewhat limited, the beautiful setting more than made up for it. We highly recommend RIU Yucatán for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

“Lovely holiday”

This was our second stay at Riu yucatan and it was exactly as we remembered less the seaweed. The beach is fabulous,so clean , the sea was a little rough for a few days due to the storm activity. This was our second stay at Riu yucatan and it was exactly as we remembered less the seaweed. The beach is fabulous,so clean , the sea was a little rough for a few days due to the storm activity. The rooms are nice large enough with plenty of drawers and hanging space, the balcony wasn’t overlooked at all. The maid service was very good . The wildlife is amazing capybaras ring tail coati and the monkeys! The food was nice we eat mostly in the Italian and steak house. The steak in the steakhouse was tough but if you go for the sharing platter it is very nice. We tried the Asian and this was pretty good but we never tried the Mexican. It is nice that you don’t have to book a table and can just turn up. My granddaughter liked the mini club especially Andrea and Mexican Chris. Our favourite bar was Ibiza bar by the quiet pool where juan was the bartender he was great. All the staff were friendly and polite and excellent at their jobs. The gym is a little tired and tended to get quite warm. The vacation was good value for money and at some point we hope to return
